Do the Warriors really care about blowing out the Kings tonight? Are they even seriously contemplating reaching 70+ wins and challenging Jordan's Bulls? I feel they are being kept on an an even keel by Kerr and have a relentless focus to take each game individually and carefully. A very well constructed team which is finally healthy.
They have manhandled Sac-Town twice already with little problem. They have the ability and depth to destroy teams without playing a full 4 quarters. They've been toying with mediocre teams and just abusing some of the better ones.
So, an easy blowout tonight, right?
Au contraire.
Familiarity is quite important in the NBA. So is having a target on your back, which the Warriors now certainly do. Sacramento has lost 5 straight and this is a game which can show how much mettle they possess and that they are a competitive squad. The Kings are not a bad team whatsoever. In fact, were they in the East, they would likely be a top 6 seed. Being in the slaughterhouse West is just bad luck.
I think the Kings give a great, consistent effort tonight. Only 4 of their losses(albeit two to the Warriors) have been by more than 15 points. Kings +15.5 and a small ML play. GL.

Warrior fan here, so I may be biased but to answer your question. Yes, we do want to blow out the Kings tonight. Harden struck a fire under our fools the other night when he said we aren't that good. At home, we are 18-1 and blowing everybody out of the water. We have only had 1 competitive home game this whole yr. The Kings give up 100+ to basically every team they play. Doesn't bode well going into Oakland to face a GS team clicking on all cylinders. For Sac to stick within 15 they will need to score about 110. We will average 30 points a quarter yet again, possibly may eclipse the 130 point mark. I pounded GS TT over 113 vs Houston and I had the same opinion, I'm on the over 117 again tonight for large again. This Kings team will not cover tonight and anyone who fades GS is crazy IMO. We just do not lose at home and we are very deep. GL but Kings will not win this game and most likely will not cover bro Kings give up way too many points and turn the ball over

Not to mention we beat Kings 95-77 week 1, game 1, and we didn't even have everybody on the same page. Shot 44% from the field IN Sacramento. We even got out rebounded 50/44 and didn't have David Lee. Still covering that +15 number. Game two we scored 128, won 128-108, covering 15. There's no way the Kings will win this game unless we shoot below 30%. I seriously think Kings may give up 130+ tonight. Gonna be hard to cover 15. GL

Good posts. However, I don't think the Kings have drawn the ire of the Warriors in nearly the same way as the Rockets(per Draymond). I also wouldn't put too much stock in Game 1 of the NBA season.

I hope you cover bro I just dnt see how anyone is still fading us at home. Here's to a 121-120 kings win for both of us tho love my team but love $ more

Ask yourself this: Can Kings shoot well enough to keep this game under control?
Warriors are going to shoot regardless and shoot 3s in transition. Whether they are up by 10, 20, or 30. Shooting is so natural to them, it's almost robotic. Klay Thompson's form is the same no matter who is in front of him. I just don't see the Kings keep this game close because they have terrible jump shooters. Cousins will get his, but who else is willing to play defense when your jump shot turns into easy transition buckets for the opposition. Warriors is a big play for me and I see it hitting easily.

Cousins should score 25+ for sure, only thing is he will get into foul trouble more than likely. Without Cousins this game will be brutal for Sac. G ay will need to step up big time

seems like warriors wanna blow out EVERYONE this season.....they simply do not know how to take their damn foot off the gas pedal..so many games ive seen the spread was in real doubt coming into the last 3 or 4 minutes of the game, even tho golden state was comfortably ahead...and they just keep on playing starters, keep on playing fast, keep on moving the ball and keep on shooting from distance wen open..they show very little mercy and tho this is a monstrous number to cover i wouldnt mess with it...as mentioned above, sacramento defense will yield a tonne of points and not sure how they can make enuff shots to keep up for 4 quarters.just not enuff shot-making and depth on that kings squad.
i will never say its impossible to cover a number in a regular season game, particularly one of this size, but i think you will definitely have to rely on warriors coming in reeeaaallly uninterested and being well off-colour/off their game.
but certainly funnier things have happened as we've all seen....good luck with your bet regardless

I'm not betting against the dubs this year, no matter the number. This is a special team. I listen to interviews about/with this team all day. Michael Thompson was on today and he keeps telling his son how the showtime Lakers would just blow people off the court, even the bad teams. He preaches this to his son on a daily basis. So I'm not betting against them.
