I was at a Bar Mitzvah this afternoon and ran into Mr. Adam Silver himself. It was a very lavish event and apparently Mr. Silver had paid for the entire day down to the penny. Talk about how to spend money.
I cautiously asked him whether his recent comments about allowing sports betting legal in all states were somehow related to the "fix" that many people believed to be in NBA. He simply smiled, looked down at me and said "take the 76ers tomorrow - that's my answer". He simply walked off with an entourage of bodyguards before I could ask him "moneyline or spread sir?"
I didn't get the answer I wanted so I'll wager on both: 76ers ML +444 76ers +9.5 -105

Fadeordie-I believe you. We all meet people like that, we all at one time or another have. I'm sure everyone on here could list people that they have met; we may even want to start a thread or list of people we've met....I think it would be quite comical!
As far as what he said, and what he meant are probably two different things. Unless you guys are buds and hang out, I don't think he's going to give you any inside scoop. He sounds like when he told you that, that he meant it in sarcasm. When people get asked the same type of question over and over they tend to have a witty comeback. That was his. That's pretty cool that you got to meet him. So, let's start that list...

If ever you really talked to him, the point is he wants to tell you not to believe in game fixing even if it really exist. who knows if he is telling the truth or just playing you around? lol he doesnt care a single cent out of you.

I like ur style tho man, keep it up you'll hit soon enough. The only problem I see is ur using ur angle wrong.
You should be looking for bad beats in the most obvious favorite plays. That's where you'll cash.
Philly was actually a covers favorite today because of the comments made by Bledsoe and people thinking that the Sixers would respond and make Bledsoe eat his own words, but unfortunately, that'd be too easy. (also there was line movement indicating money on the Sixers)
But on top of that, what actually led me here to ur post, was my agreement to ur theory that the NBA is going to make a 180 flip soon enough after the pounding Vegas took today. When the time comes my friend

I've met Larry Bird (he told me to take the Celtics)
I've met George W. Bush (he told me to take the Mavs)
I've met Mark Cuban (he told me to talk to George W. Bush)...but he did like my idea on a secret project I'm working on. I told him I'd cut him in, but he needed to take the Sixers!

Are you sure it was not Voldemort from Harry Potter that you were talking to?
Is Voldemort a Hebrew? Then may be yes. I do have a bad eyesight
Bottom line is. NBA is owned and run by Hebrews. Vegas is owned and run by Hebrews. One thing Hebrews do NOT do against each other is take the other one's money. Hebrew's money is very stale, it always circulates solely between them so there is no loss - only profit.
