You are still talking like you know this team better than I do. You really have no clue about this team if you don't understand why Bazemore will be an upgrade over Lou Williams.
We all know Lou Williams can score, but here's two things he cannot do. He cannot score within the offense and he can't play a lick of defense. Scoring is not the problem for this Hawks team. We will score on a regular basis. We needed to improve on the defensive end, and our backup wing players were where the improvement needed to be made most. Bazemore is going to be a huge improvement over Lou Will whether he can pick up Lou's scoring slack or not.
That Washington team only won 44 games last season while having very good luck regarding injuries. I have listed the injuries that we faced last season. The Wizards had the luxury of only of their key guys missing more than 10 games last season (Nene) and they finished only six games ahead of us. Our schedule gets much easier while the Wizards schedule gets a little tougher compared to last season's. A list of games missed by Wizards key players:
Wall - 0, Beal 9, Ariza 5, Gortat 1, Webster 4.
We already know that they wont have such luck this season since Beal will miss the first month and Webster isn't ready to play. What are they going to do at SG during that first month? How long will it take them to get back in full rhythm once Beal returns?

He doesn't need to win the title for a solid chance at COY. I say win the southeast division, a top 3-4 and make it to the ECF and he has a very good shot at getting the award.

I usually don't bet as much during the regular season but I may at the beginning of this year. I may flat bet each of say the first 10 games until Vegas catches up on this team. There should be tremendous value at times.
One game I will be on for sure is the home opener against Indy on Nov. 1st. This team has a bone to pick with Indy after losing game 7 and I don't think Indy will be able to do much about it.
The Hawks marketing department is going all out to make sure this will be a packed house that night. They are giving out $10 gift cards for merch and food for everyone who shows up before 7 pm. and ATL's very own, T.I. is going to be performing before the show, at halftime, and after the show. Fans are also eager to come out and give a strong showing of support for the team after all of the nonsense that went on during the offseason with the front office. Phillips Arena will be rocking hard on Nov. 1st.
