I love this write up from SBRforum:
At 192 points, this total is much too high for the type of game this could be. Even though the last two games in the series have gone over, Game 4 will likely be one of the testier games of the series. Not only is it a must win for the Raptors, but as series go on in the NBA playoffs, it seems like the totals sometimes get lower. Teams are so used to playing one another by the 3rd or 4thgame, their defense gets better as they adjust to matchups.
If that’s the case on Sunday, I think 192 points will be a great under value. The Nets have really benefited from the time off in between playoff games, and while I don’t think it’s hurt the Raptors, it’s virtually neutralized one of their greater advantages, their youth and athleticism.
With 2-3 days off in between games this regular season, the Nets have cashed the under at 10-7-2, and even though they only had one day off between Games 3 and 4, because the series has only seen four games in nine days, I think the Nets are at a great advantage because of it. For some reason, even though this series was the first to tip off in these playoffs, almost every other series has passed them up in amount of games played. Look for the Nets to be rested, and the Raptors to buckle down in this pivotal Game 4 for our NBA picks.
