I dont think these 4 matches show the over all picture. Spurs will beat OKC in a 7 game series just because they have cleverness. You dont win championships in the regular season.
Still, great win today, LC. Tailed you on this one. Thanks a lot!

Spurs might not get out the 1st round, no way they beat the Thunder in a 7 game series.

OKC will not play in the WF. If they go there they will be crush by Spurs. All 4 games was against the Spurs this season... too many injures and now they played a tough b2b....

Sorry but OKC has San number this year. OKC will win the West and may be the Final.

Im probably one of the biggest Heat haters on these boards. But you can't underestimate the legacy of LeBron and the heat. They have their minds set on a dynasty and we all know LBJ wants to be better than Michael. His first step would be to 3 peat. Everybody knows and says that the Spurs should have won the finals last year if it weren't for Ray Allen. LeBron gets better and more efficient every year. I would not count them out.
Obviously they still have to get there first and it will be a battle all the way through. But don't for a second think that regular season records mean ANYTHING once the playoffs start. It might as well be another sport. The bulls have had an unreal record against the heat every regular season but they've won a combined 2 games in 2 years in 2 playoff series.

You can't be serious. So tired of hearing that, Westbrook makes this team a Championship caliber team. Without him they do nothing in the playoffs. He takes attention off of Durant. People only think they would be better without him because of how well they play when he's gone but the playoffs is a completely different animal. Sure Durant can carry the load when Westbrook is out for 10-12-15 games in the regular season against lesser opponents but it will tire him out if it happens in the playoffs against elite defenses. The Thunder would accomplish nothing without Westbrook, don't be a fool.

great call on okc today LC.. was on them as well. Disagree with the thunder winning the finals.. i think with indi struggling, miami will make the finals..and the thunder just don't match up well with them..if the thunder face anyone else from the east i think they can do it.. but not against miami.
ibaka just isn't a reliable 3rd option too inconsistent.. bosh on the other hand is a key piece for Miami and they have solid role players. Another key factor is the health of wade..

I'm not underestimating the Heat, they would for sure be a very tough matchup for the Thunder. But OKC is a much hungrier team than past years, much more experienced, and they would have homecourt advantage over the heat which to me, means the world for them. OKC is such a tough place to play for opponents

those that saying okc better without westbrook are crazy... he is an amazing talent... however, i will say that i think they would be better served trading him... for example.. if they could get love for westbrook, i'd do that instantly... reggie jackson becomes the starting pg...thabo.. kd.. ibaka.. love..
okc weakness is their centre.. perkins is terrible, still not sure why he starts over adams or collison..

westbrook loses control sometimes..
Yes but his speed is a HUGE asset at times as well. You can always count for an automatic 4 or 6 points coming to the Thunder from Westbrook driving down the court in 3 seconds or less after a made basket and scoring. He's that fast, it's literally 4-6 points every game just off that alone. His speed is so underrated

genecam27,i love reading your stuff and respect your knowledge, you have mad insight into teams and players so thank you my good man........but 2 say mike conley is every bit as good as chris paul???come on dude, conley cant even hang with paul in his own dreams....for sure conley is heavily slept-on and under-rated to the max but in no way can he be compared to someone who will most likely go down as 1 of the greatest 5 point guards to ever play the game(maybe even better depending how much he can win the remainder of his career...conley can kill on a given nite but just cant give you that elite production on a consistent basis nite-in nite-out in the white-hot atmosphere of the toughest battles.....check pauls career numbers man, dude has been all-world his entire career, which has been a while now...got hornets into the playoffs on the regular with basically only david west and a bunch of scrubs, then rode into town and turned one of the most moribund,losing-est franchises in the entire world of professional sports into a bona-fide legitimate fringe championship contendor and the hottest ticket in town.....dude is a difference-maker and an easy first choice all-star every year due to his production..wat does he have to do to get respect??...again i got no problem with conley but his ceiling is where it is...until i see him putting up those dominant games he sporadically throws up on a much more regular basis, then i cant consider him to be spoken in the same breath as paul
Thanks bro....
Skill set wise Connelly is a beast. You gotta remember he plays in a different system....
i'm gonna have a sick write up in a few days on the playoffs..... we're gonna score big.....
It's actually pretty insane how OKC is a terrible match up for the Spurs.... The spurs are great inside the pain interior passing team and they kick out once in a while to shoot threes..... BUT..... OKC doens't let you mess around the rim.... Ibaka is such an insane X factor with that.... I know you can't take away too much from this game because spurs were in a horrible spot and all that and they still put a nice fight in the first half.... but this one really might be a lopsided series.... maybe not cuz you never under estimate the Spurs....
Miami is a horrible match up for OKC..... if that OKC Miami finals happens this year..... bro i'm hammering Miami they will clean them out without home court it will 2 years ago same outcome.... Lebron and d wade can score in the paint they are too fast adn too athletic for them.... that dunk on Ibaka when ibaka broke lebrons nose and he still threw it down on him sums up the whole series.... miami rotates and swarms around all over the place turning them into a BAD JUMP SHOOTNG TEAM with no half court offense cuz they have no post up guys.... its no coincidence Miami DESTROYS them everytime they play at full levels (aka motivated). And Lets face Durant is awesome but Lebron is like 3 times better if not more.... he can guard durant if he wants to.... Durant can't feck with Bron....
Spurs are a horrible match up for miami because miami has no rim protectors spurs.... interior passing is great and they have length everywhere that kid Kawasaki leonard is nasty. Greg Oden wont do anyting agaisnt the spurs..... Crazy how spurs play well agasint miami but not against OKC and how miami destroys OKC but can play the spurs..... And Yes im goin heavy onteh spurs if they see miami in the finals.... theres a couple of other teams that might get there too.... we'll see how everything play out.... great game tonight though really let me see the match ups and why OKC dominates San An so much.

Thunder now 4-0 SU and 4-0 ATS against the Spurs this season. Who still thinks the Spurs are the team to beat in the West?
This guy does.
Kawhi (who guards Durant) was out for the 2 games @SA, Manu out + terrible spot last night. Regular season don't matta...
But securing home court advantage throughout the playoffs will be huge for the Spurs. They rely on their role players more than any other team and role players always play better at home, just look at last year's Finals...

I really thought the Clippers were gonna be a bigger threat in the second round than the spurs in the conference finals...but after seeing the Thunder take on the Clippers tonight.....I'm leaning with LC on the futures bet.......LC you still feeling OKC all the way???

Was wrong before.... OKC is a very serious threat......
Everyone knew about westbrook obviously they are saving him.... he's like a pitbull with rabies ready to go off and tear your head off they have to keep a leash on him until the playoffs. i think this guy might be my favorite player..... its so hard not to like his game.....
I also think kevin martin from last year was a complete feckin chump. with that said Reggie Jackson is a HUGE X factor..... this guy is a mini westbrook and Scotty brookls plays them together in the back court..... this is a pretty ridiculous back court. This kid reggie jackson basketball IQ is off the charts.... athleticism is off the charts..... and hes got some serious playoff experience from last year including a lot of situational experince from this year.... bad news....
OKC has a legit BIG 4 now better than they had with harden..... Durant, Westbrook, Ibaka, Reggie Jackson plus Butler and Fisher off the bench...... as much as I think miami is a bad match up for them..... they are looking more and more like Brooklyn...... they have LENGTH EVERYHWERe..... that's what Miami struggles with....
and im halfway burying Miami..... I really think Brooklyn is on some crazy shiit this year..... they are foaming at the mouth for chicago in the first round pretty obvious they are gearing up for them.... as they really dont give a shiit about crappy sub .500 teams and just take the night off..... after that its go time with miami.....

No team is hungrier then the Thunder. You can make an argument for the Spurs but last year was there year. Only other threat out of the west is the Clippers but what you saw tonight, there no match for OKC. Plus OKC will have homecourt over them. If it's Heat vs OKC it will be a tough matchup but head-to-head for +525 odds i'll take that anyday. Anything can happen in the finals and i'll be more than happy having my money on Durant and OKC in the Finals at those odds

I have serious doubts about wade being able to have a solid postseason. They're obviously hoping to unleash him for the playoffs but I wonder how much of a rhythm he'll be in and if his knees can keep up with those types of games. If he can't be that second scorer you've gotta wonder if lebron can carry this team like he did last year. That would be his fourth consecutive NBA finals and he was visibly gassed last year. If that's the case I'm not so sure Miami still
