pigskin and friends NBA monday.....March 25

the ole pigskin is back  from chilly and snowy  st louis....good to be back in the warmth of the sty...just a couple of things appear to me as i tried to catch up on all ive missed...
first, the wizards at home getting 5 seem like a decent pick...they have a  superb record ATS and even without bradley beal, i feel like garrett temple and AJ pricewill pick up his slack.... this team always seems to play hard...
secondly...my home team horn-nuts... missing vasquez and rivers new orleans will be sorely pressed for guard play...as only eric gordon is reliable, in my opinion..i dont see the horn-nuts being able to match the pace and firepower of denver...maybe monte williams finds a way to slow down the denver scoring express, but i dont think so...i have to lay the 7 with the nuggets..

 lawson is IN as of last word cash.... baby.... bridge is a competitive game, BUT these games were not for money... or we would have done well!!! goin to check out the ducks...

in st louis we entered 7 events, won first in one, lost in the finals in one , lost in the semis in one and failed to scratch the other 4...which in the world of bridge , isnt bad... thx..

 how should i play the ducks??  ML, PL or both???  you know i dont know a thing about hockey...

The ML is cheap (around -130) so no reason to risk PL unless you want to take a shot at a big payout.  Went ML myself....

Denver getting popped in the first quarter.  I didn't play FG, so I'm already itching to play them at the half....

I'd go more on ML than PL.  Usually I do 2-1 when I split the bet.  Reason being if they only win by 1 it sucks to just break even....

Denver down by even more now, and its almost the half.  If you (or anyone else) can think of a reason not to load up on them, please say it soon. 

Otherwise, unless the line is -10 or so, I'll be on them for a big play 2nd H....

well...i hate if i gave cash bad info ...last i heard, ty lawson was playing, but he is obviously out...... him being out snd with the horn-nuts playing so well...i may have to reconsider and play hornets 2nd half..

They dropped the game as I was putting in the play.  Ended up with NOTHING on it.  Figures.

 how IRONIC.... i clicked continue after puttin in my password and the screen said there were no play games available for this wager... so, they just took it down as both of us submitted denver - 8 1/2.... argghhhh

Since we both got shut out, they're almost guaranteed to cover.  Fortunately I decided to go small, or I'd be pissed right now.

Gonna disappear for an hour or two.  If you're interested, I put a small play on under 103 LAK/GS for 1st H.  But its certainly not something I feel strongly about...

baby i liked the over 97 1/2 as much or more than denver...you know denver had to start scoring and new orleans was going to throw in a few..... so 97 1/2 looked safe and they about to have a 60 pt 3rd quarter....argghhh

I was going to go Over too, but Pho said Denv wasn't going anywhere and recommended Under.  Oh well.
