#1 Posted: 1/15/2013 4:10:30 PM The biggest thread on this forum asked that question. I'm ready to challenge the strategies described in that thread with mine. I will prove to you that there is a way easier strategy to make money from sports betting. I have done it for each and every month since 2008. |

#2 Posted: 1/15/2013 4:13:37 PM I read through the trade created by respected SportsMavin and although I agree with many of his teachings - we have a basic difference in our approach. That difference is called EGO. You can't win by just being a humble. No way. The only drive a human being has to better his current position on a ladder is EGO. And without that we would be still sitting on the tree branches and fighting the apes on sitting on other trees. |

#4 Posted: 1/15/2013 4:19:04 PM Lesson Number 1: Bankroll
If you can't raise an amount of at least 5,000 U$D to start betting - you better look for other ways to improve your financial situation than betting on sports. The same goes for trading in options which I admit SportsMavin has achieved some significant successes (I think I know who's behind that nicks as I also come and am still active on those markets). So, if you can't raise 5 grand - you're just wasting your time living in an imaginary world that you're gonna have any success long run from betting. |

#5 Posted: 1/15/2013 4:27:01 PM Why? Because an adult person who doesn't have on his name 5,000 U$D is a loser and being such - will lose any money he will invest. He is either a stupid person or one who can not be consistent with his decisions and have no stamina for making decisions and taking calculated risks. Because, let's face it - betting is all about taking risks. Bigger the risk - bigger the profit and if you can take a risk which is generally considered a big risk, but you know what you're doing - You're actually buying a low risk option for you at the high risk price (low price) for others , or betting on an outcome that seems a very risky one to everyone, but not to you - because you know that there's almost no risk in that outcome. That is a power of Knowledge and without it - just guessing outcomes will never make you any money. |

#8 Posted: 1/15/2013 4:37:23 PM And I do say to tail my picks as long as you have the money I said you should. And once you do that - tail only me and nobody else because I know how to manage the risks better than anyone I know. And I know a lot of people who are in this business. With all this, all my picks will be explained and there will not be picks saying - pound A against B. Only absolutely well reasoned picks. Picks that if I wanted I could sell for lots of money to a special customers, but since it is an Ego call for me where I challenge "the best" here or outside of here - my picks will be well reasoned and easy to understand. In a month or two - my picks will move the lines. I do it all the time with options. My signals have been the movers. |

#11 Posted: 1/15/2013 4:43:19 PM Op is right about having a bankroll... most people deposit a few hundred and try to get on a hot streak by going all in a few times to build the bankroll. Sure it is doable but better to start with a specific amount of money .. doesn't have to be 5k obviously |

May be a 5$ bet a person can allow himself wasting so much time on your thread only to make few dollars - but my time is valuable and the only justification for me to spend that time here will be making thousands of dollars every month and not 400-500 dollars. I am a very serious person and if I would not want to challenge that Ego less approach by Mr SportsMavin - I would not be here. He may be thinking he's doing something good - but he is also wasting his and his viewers time by "developing" new handicappers who will also waste other people's time. The results will tell. |

#13 Posted: 1/15/2013 4:45:11 PM sigh. how many of these "bibles to gambling" do we need. So far in this version we've got:
1) ego 2) 5k bankroll
interesting... |

I can double the investment every given month. So, if you can't raise 5000 dollars - it is a waste of time |

And to say someone is stupid if they don't have 5k....well you are beyond stupid for saying that. You have no idea what life is about and you are not humble.
The more humble a person is...the more successful they will become. At least that is what I have seen and been taught by my boss in the sky.
Guess you have never had a taste of the real world. |

So you are going to move the lines in a month or two?
How do you do that?
Have you done this before?
Amazing

#20 Posted: 1/15/2013 4:56:26 PM ^yes, yes i do.
My 2 cents is you gain credibility through either:
a) posting information b) posting picks
not through asking if everyone has 5 grand. It's not a survey.
Let's see how you do, but many people will have trouble believing your "making money each and every month since 2008. Meaning you've now started youre now halfway through your 61st consecutive month of profit.

#21 Posted: 1/15/2013 4:56:35 PM I don't have 5k, guess i'm a looser.,Wouldn't you respect someone a hell of allot more if he turned 250$ into 5k?
But for christ sakes, if you are successful at trading options, you are well worth tailing.
I'll stroke your ego all you want if you provide free picks.
lets getr done.

Guess you have never had a taste of the real world. You are told that in order not to challenge wealthy and to be happy with what you even if you're laying in a dirt. Be humble. Accept your destiny ... and don't eyeball my money. If anyone is stupid here it is you who is told that you have your place in society. Have you heard of Nietzsche?
