#1002 Posted: 1/2/2013 7:30:30 PM only real big upset game that is really possible I think is Dallas...they have been getting clobbered lately but they may have just gained a little bit of confidence from finally getting a win....Heat are 14-2 at home and beat Dallas badly last time they played so why could this happen???......Heat are still an inconsistent team...Dallas has enough veterans to have composure for a game like this and much like Boston is simply a good franchise with an owner that will do anything to win.......OJ MAYO has slowed down alot....dont get me wrong Dallas could easily lose this game by 20 but I see a 28 percent chance of them taking this but Nowitzki will have to finally show up and OJ Mayo has to get back to how he started the season...and if they do possibly parlay with the over.. 12 to 1 pay out......put a 1/3 unit on it...y not??? |

#1010 Posted: 1/2/2013 7:39:04 PM Mavin, one thing I noticed last night as I sat most of the games out (with exception of Dallas -4 ) was the fact that a team without a key player rallies around that player the day they are out. Denver without Ty Lawson for example yesterday or the Knicks down in PHX last week without Melo the first game -- JR Smith taking over, etc). Also noticed when teams are with a key player back from injury the FIRST game back (i.e.: Melo or STAT for the Knicks) they struggle as a whole a bit due to adjusting to the player being back and don't cover). Wondering if you guys consider this when looking at the lines.. I almost put 2 units on POR last night +9 for that very reason but sat it out to prove my theory. Any input is appreciated. |

Both cases. If you list back in the thread - you'll find that argument |

#1016 Posted: 1/2/2013 7:57:58 PM yeah i waited on GS bet..........i knew people would throw money down on clippers thinking there is no way after 17 straight wins....they lose 2 straight.......but as you have mentioned mavin....sometimes teams have letdowns after 1st loss...........also tweeder if you look back in forum Mavin has mentioned that atleast twice.......ty for the incite though....make that known to everyone, if you disagree with Mavin or me or if you have better info into a certain game...speak your opinion, everything helps... |

I may be forcing a play here. We will see. I am on the others. I always look under first (after years of always looking over). Either way. Let's get some winners. |
