#1 Posted: 12/15/2012 1:40:06 PM Updated December Record: 28-14-1 (66.6%) (+48.6 Units)1 unit: 0-0 2 unit: 1-1 3 unit: 9-4 4 unit: 12-5-1 5 unit: 6-4
Got tossed around last night. Bad picks combined with bad luck. OKC blowing a huge 4th quarter lead, Denver game staying under by 1. Tough night but it was a nice run while it lasted. Big Bounceback day planned today.
5 units: Boston +10.5 @ San Antonio Underdog is 10-1-1 ATS in last 12 meetings H2H Road team is 9-1-1 in the last 11 meetings H2H
I know Boston played last night and San Antonio is coming back home after B2B losses and could be poised for a big win but this is alot of points for San Antonio to be laying against a good Celtics team that matches up well. I'm riding with the Celtics tonight plus the points.
5 units: Golden State +6.5 @ Atlanta GS are 7-3ATS in their last 11 ATL are 3-9-1ATS in last 13 home games Underdog is 8-3ATS in last 11 H2H
Another team on a B2B but i expect a much better performance by GS tonight. GS have played in alot of close games this year and I see that continuing tonight. Golden State and Atlanta match up well against each other.
3 units: Boston @ San Antonio over 197.5 Have been doing pretty well playing winners and o/u for the same game so gonna go back to that tonight. We KNOW San Antonio is going to push the tempo and score some points, i'm banking on Boston getting a fair number as well. Score prediction: San Antonio 106 - Boston 100

#7 Posted: 12/15/2012 4:02:27 PM I agree, I watch the game last night and they were on fire in the first time. In the second half they rushed so many shots and begin to fade away against a very bad defensive Houston team. I'm not saying 10 points isn't a lot however Boston doesn't have the legs to battle against an elite team on a back to back |

#8 Posted: 12/15/2012 4:15:22 PM @JayO I was pointing out that guy saying Boston was a loss
Everyone else, thanks for the input, I'm really starting to get worried about Boston. I just think 10.5 is too much. Elite teams generally lay that vs bad teams. Ie okc -12 vs Sacramento. My thinking is Boston is a better team then that line |

10.5 seems like too many points, however:
The spurs have only be favored by 7.5+ pts 6 times this year they won those games by:
vs UTA by 10
vs IND by 22
vs ORL by 21
vs MIL by 11
vs HOU by 22
vs CHA by 30
BOS will probably more of a challenge than these teams.... just food for thought.

#11 Posted: 12/15/2012 4:47:25 PM I would say Boston is equivalent to those teams. Starting to scare off of Boston. What are people's thoughts on Brooklyn @ Chicago. I know Brooklyn played long last night but 5.5 seems alot |

Not sure if I'll play this one either:
If CHI defense has a weakness it is elite point guards (w/out D.Rose). I have them going 1-5 last 6 vs the likes of C.Paul, J.Holiday, R.Rondo and R.Westbrook. I think D.Williams could have a big game.

#14 Posted: 12/15/2012 5:00:16 PM I think your a great capper and I like all of your picks for tonight. The refs for the Boston/SA game are 14-7 on the over for games with an O/U of 195-205 as well seem to lean to the away side. I think those trends help support your picks.
As for the Brooklyn/Chicago game I would take Over 183 as well as Chicago by 5.5.
What are your thoughts on U196 in the GS game? and the Memphis/Utah game? |

#15 Posted: 12/15/2012 5:06:29 PM Kulprit- Thanks for the insight
Hockey - Gs under I won't be playing. Slight lean to the under but not enough for me to play.
Memphis Utah game lean towards under, 2 defensive teams who both played last night and travelled. Also lean Memphis. Utah has been unbelievable at home but Memphis does something no team going into Utah has been able to do this year and that's matchup with Utahs size up front. Talent wise I see a substantial advantage for Memphis and in a defensive, grind it out game I like Memphis to avoid B2B losses. Will most likely add Memphis as a play tonight. |

I was also leaning towards Orlando +1 and the Under 193, are these solid picks? |

#17 Posted: 12/15/2012 5:55:14 PM No lean on Orlando. Strong lean to Orlando game over. Charlotte averaging 104 ppg against this year. Play the over |

#19 Posted: 12/15/2012 6:03:44 PM Thanks, looks like I was leaning the wrong way on that one. Did you make a decision on Brooklyn @ Chicago? And are you sticking with Boston and the Over? |

#20 Posted: 12/15/2012 6:10:35 PM All posted plays are final. I may get nervous about them but won't change them. Looking like no play on Chicago |

#22 Posted: 12/15/2012 6:45:04 PM Fair enough. Thanks for the help, I think Im going to go with the O183 in Brooklyn and Chicago. Just wondering what the reasoning is to not play Chicago at home with rest against Brooklyn on the road after going into 2OT last night?
Last question, great work. Good luck. |
