Finally a winning day!

4-1 +7.12 today
Big part coming from Mike Conley hitting that meaningless 3 ball to win the +9

Well, normally I would just like to sit the last game out, but maybe I just want to have a play for the sake of being a degenerate... I am not chasing, if that's what you thing.. I just want some action for the last game. So, onto the last bet tonight:

DENVER NUGGETS +5 @1.98 for 2 UNITS
>>>>> Simply because they lost ATS last night, I am looking for a cover here tonight from the Nuggets. Not saying that they win this game outright, but they will probably keep the game close(hopefully) and cover the spread. Denver had only been dogs 5x this season, all road games, and they've gone 4-1 ATS. I like them being dogs than faves (on road). Also, when Lakers are favored between 4 to 6.5, they are 0-3 ATS. Both stats favoring the Nuggets, so I will ride them.

BOL to all our remaining bets!!!
(Here's to hoping both World Peace and Lawson do some damage, because I really need them to perform in my fantasy league)

Err... I meant -9 covered because of Conley's 3 pointer

Hmmm I guess it was wiser not to make any bets on the late game.. There goes 2 units

UNLESS the Nuggets somehow pull off a comeback miracle here (something that Jazz and Warriors did to them)...

Not bad yesterday, going 4-2 and +5.12... If I wasn't greedy enough to make a play on the last game of the night, then it would've been one of the best days of my NBA career this season.. Nonetheless it was a + day so I'll take it.

Onto tonight's bets:

MILWAUKEE BUCKS -3.0 @1.89 for 3 UNITS
>>>>> I won with the Celtics earlier today, and watched how the Bucks got clobbered by Minnesota. Tonight, I expect Boston to not play as well as they did earlier today, and seeing that the Bucks are ready to retaliate and get avenge of their loss. Add the fact that Boston's b2b record isn't really that great, I am quite confident of the deers here tonight.

PORTLAND BLAZERS -1 @1.95 for 3 UNITS
>>>>> Portland lost ATS today, while Cleveland won ATS and SU. This will change after tonight's game, because I expect the Blazers to go all out against Irving-less Cavs. Their talent will most likely surpass Cavs' effort and enthusiasm.

MIAMI HEAT -8.0 @1.91 for 3 UNITS
>>>>> A very subpar game against the Spurs, the Heatles are probably awoken at the fact that San Antonio almost beat them. Tonight, I don't think the Nets will have much to offer against Lebron and Co. They've been crushed by 40 earlier this season, and I don't think tomorrow's game will be any different. Also, Nets are on b2b, and they won earlier, so I will fade them tonight.

UTAH JAZZ +5.0 @1.91 for 2 UNITS
>>>>> I love my Rockets, but if there's one team that brings misery to us, be it home or road, it will have to be Jazz. They seemed to have matched up well against us, ever since the Deron+Boozer era. Tonight's match won't be any different, and I won't be surprised if Utah pulls of a rare road win for themselves, in our expense.

DETROIT PISTONS +7.5 @1.91 for 2 UNITS
>>>>> Detroit just lost (barely) SU and ATS earlier today, so I will be backing them tonight, hoping they keep this game close and possible for a backdoor hit.

GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS -4.0 @1.90 for 2 UNITS
>>>>> A very simple b2b rule to be applied to the Pacers. They won today, so I go against them the next day. Not to mention GSW is playing really well lately. The only thing which concerns me is GSW height. They may have to double/triple their efforts to beat Indiana because they have 2 post threats (defense and offense).

BOL to all our bets!!!!!

Both Milwaukee and Portland pushed (pure luck on my side), leaving me 2-2 the remaining 4 games. Still a + day because I won a 3 unit bet.

2 straight days I'm on the plus side, let's continue it tomorrow!!!

Bets will be posted in 6 hours or so.

Only one bet for the remaining game tonight:

MAGIC/LAKERS 198.5 OVER @2.04 for 3 UNITS
>>>>> Just looking at one special trend here. This is LA's 4th Sunday night game this season, as they've gone 2-1 over/under the previous 3. That one under fell short by merely 2 points (Detroit match), so Lakers are probably in a mood for a high scoring affair during Sundays. Even with an abysmal Orlando Magic team, I still feel the over will hit on tonight's game. Looking at a possible 110- 95 type of a final score.

BOL to all our bets!!!

Good thing I didn't put any name on my projected score, I wasn't expecting Orlando to win that game straight up. BUT, over cashed in so I don't really care much about the side plays.

I will be updating my records/stats soon, but if my count is right, I am positive for 3 straight days now. Good start for the month of December.

Onto tonight's bets:

MAGIC / WARRIORS 195 UNDER @1.95 for 4 UNITS
>>>>> Last night I was with the over on the Magic game, simply because of LA's Sunday Night special. Tonight, I am back with the under on Orlando's matches, added the stat wherein the Warriors are 2-0 under in 2 games of last match of a home stand. They had 2 home stands prior to this one, and the last match on each of those 2 resulted to unders. I will stick with this trend and hopefully, the Warriors play much better defense than LA.

CHARLOTTE BOBCATS -1.0 @1.94 for 3 UNITS
>>>>> This is a risky bet considering I am asking the Bobcats, not only to win the game, but also cover the spread; against a very talented Blazers team. I believe the Cats can get the job done, as they've been playing really well during the start of this season. Portland, on the other hand, continues to struggle on the road, unlike when they are at home wherein they are close to being unbeatable. Lastly, the 3 referees of the game has a combined 30-7 record in favor of the home team, SU. I'll take my chances with Michael Jordan's team.

GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS -9.5 @1.90 for 3 UNITS
>>>> Magic is on a b2b situation. They've split their previous b2b sets, and tonight I expect the trend to continue.

LA CLIPPERS -1.5 @1.92 for 2 UNITS
>>>>> How in the world are the Jazz, 6-0 @ home, becomes dogs to the Clippers, 3-3 on the road? I am not a believer that Las Vegas makes mistakes in terms of handing out handicaps, but I do believe that traps or fishy lines exist; and this is one concrete example of a trap. With the + on Utah, they want the bettors to pick Jazz' side to beat the Clippers who are ordinary when playing on the road. Hence, I will not take the bait and side with Clippers on this one.

BOL to all our bets!!!!

I think the Clippers -1.5 is the trap and not being +1.5 for Utah being the trap.  Utah has no body on the team. no Superstars.  No big time players yet they are 6-0 at home and Clippers who are just a bucker fav?

Thanks for this input.

But, if I'm not mistaken, Utah is one of those few teams that are very tough to beat on their home court (alongside Denver, Portland). In my opinion, Utah should not be considered dogs on their court, regardless if they face the Lakers or Clippers or Thunder or Heat. They deserve respect in their home court.

That's why I will not take the bait of Uta +points. It really doesn't make any sense to me.

How about these Bobcats? Ahead by 18 with 5 minutes to go, and they couldn't hold on.

It's gonna suck should they lose this game.

Great.

Bobcats cannot hold an 18 point lead in the last 5 minutes.

And, Clippers cannot make 1 defensive stop in the last 4 seconds.

Apparently, I am staring @ a possible 0-4 day, -12 units.

No thanks to Bobcats' defense; Barnes' freethrow shooting; and Warriors' defense (as well).

Great.

Just lost 9 units last night because of the following plays:

...that sent the game to OT where Bobcats lost.

...that moosed the LAC-1.5 I had.

...a meaningless shot because the game has already been decided, crushing the under195 bet.

Well, that's me. That's how my gambling life had been for the past 5 years or so. Nothing's changed.

Still, here I am, trying to be on the right side of moose plays/games.

Onto tonight's bets:

PACERS / BULLS 180 UNDER @1.98 for 3 UNITS
MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES -10.0 @1.93 for 3 UNITS
LAKERS / ROCKETS 212.5 UNDER @2.13 for 2 UNITS

BOL to us all.

I wasn't able to make any plays today because of busyness, but TNT Thursday is here, so onto my (shady) bets:

KNICKS / HEAT 202 UNDER @1.91 for 1 UNIT
MAVERICKS / SUNS 200 UNDER @1.91 for 1 UNIT

>>>>> Same old fade day. Both bets are below 40% in terms of covers consensus.

My record/stats will be updated REALLY soon...

Onto tonight's bets:

LA CLIPPERS -10.5 @1.94 for 5 UNITS

>>>>> The biggest factor for me about the stat/trend for this bet is LAC's 2 days rest ATS. They are a perfect 4-0 when having 2 days off, winning by 13 (ATL), 7 (MIA), 21 (CHI), and 35 (SAC). ALL HOME GAMES. The Suns on the other hand are merely 5-8-1 ATS on 1 day rest. I'll take my chances with the Clips to cover the huge spread.

SIXERS / CELTICS 186 UNDER @1.91 for 3 UNITS

>>>>> The second game of the home-away series between these teams, after the 1st game going over by 0.5 because of an overtime, I expect both squads to be a bit tired and focused defensively. They'd probably lock each other down defensively instead, rather than out-shooting one another. In addition, this is Celts' 6th set of a back-to-back. The first 5 sets, during the 2nd game of b2b, they have gone 1-4 O/U. Note that overall, Boston is 11-7-1 in favor of over. Out of the 7 under games Boston had, 4 came on the 2nd night of b2b (out of 5 games). Tired legs or dead legs or old age reasons, perhaps?

CLEVELAND CAVALIERS +1.5 @1.88 for 2 UNITS

>>>>> I miss betting on Cavs games, mainly because their best player is out indefinitely. Tonight though, I will be backing them for a few reasons, the biggest one being: Detroit is 1-10 away, and they are being favored in this game? This may actually be a trap line, but considering the Cavs is a d-league team right now with only Varejao posing a threat, I believe Las Vegas is just about right in making the Pistons the faves, even with that abysmal road record. I like the Cavs to win this game, SU, but I'd take the +points for insurance purposes. Another reason is that Detroit is 0-3 ATS on games they are favored 1 point to 2.5 points. Here's to hoping that becomes 0-4 after this game.

Lots of other games aren't offered yet by my book, but I'm pretty much satisfied in having 3 bets for tonight. I may/will add plays if necessary, but I won't force betting.

BOL to all our bets!!!

Solid effort by J. Crawford and E. Bledsoe in the 4th Quarter, helping the Clips cover the spread. That 5 unit bet was my first this season, and I'm hoping of good things to come for my next 2 bets for tonight.

Still looking at some numbers if I will add more plays. Let me see..

I will be adding a couple total plays for tonight:

MAVERICKS / ROCKETS 207 UNDER @2.10 for 3 UNITS

>>>>> Just following a trend by the Rockets, when they had under the 1st game of a b2b, the 2nd game also went under (happened only once though). Aside from the fact that Dallas may probably be without C. Kaman, meaning no post player for the Mavs, so they'd probably rely on perimeter shots all game long. We know Rockets rely on perimeter anyway so they'd love a shootout. But, I trust Rick Carlisle to make the necessary adjustments, meaning, if he wants his team to win this game, he will stress out the notion of DEFENSE.

KINGS / BLAZERS 196.5 OVER @1.91 for 2 UNITS

>>>>> On the 2nd game of b2b, the Kings' games had gone over for a perfect 3 of 3. The totals were 204 (line @189), 205 (line @196), 197 (line @196.5). Well that 204 total was a little lucky because it needed 2 OT sessions to end the game. Still, all 3 games had gone over, and I like the trend to continue tonight @ Blazers arena. Even without T. Evans.

These 2 bets will be added to my pending bets which are:

SIXERS / CELTICS UNDER 186 @1.91 for 3 UNITS
CLEVELAND CAVALIERS +1.5 @1.88 for 2 UNITS

BOL to all our bets!!!

Well the Rockets under is a bust. I was expecting Dallas to play better defense, but I guess Rockets just doesn't care in defending anybody right now.

So, I need the Cavs, Celtics under, and Kings over to get the job done. Hopefully.

Play on!!!

Both 5 unit bets (highest bet so far this season) hit, with both LAC and CHI playing superb in the 4thQ. Both additional plays, Rockets under and Kings under were wayyyy off. I gotta stop making additional plays from now on. Boston under was kinda easy, while Cavs just had no offense when the game is close.

Onto tonight's bets:

LA CLIPPERS -11.0 @1.97 for 3 UNITS
>>>>> Last night, my biggest play was LAC-10.5 because of a certain trend (4-0 ATS for 2 days rest). Tonight, I will ride them again because of the Raptors' b2b record. The Raptors record on 1-day rest with the game on the road is 1-5 ATS. Their only victory was a 0.5 win (covered +1.5 @ Detroit). Toronto is a good team, who has a very good PG, but Clippers will take them down tonight, and feast on them.

ORLANDO MAGIC +4 @1.92 for 2 UNITS
>>>>> Phoenix Suns ATS on the 2nd game of a b2b is 0-4. Even though 3 of those losses were on the road (and they are at home tonight), I still believe that having no one from the bench to step up on b2b games will make it difficult for the Suns to win and even cover the spread against Orlando. This is a risky bet because Magic can just stop playing basketball anytime, but I am following them mainly because of that certain Suns trend.

OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER -10.0 @1.97 for 2 UNITS
>>>>> Indiana Pacers, after 1 day rest, when playing on the road, is 0-4 ATS. That's all I needed to reaffirm my bet for OKC. Another big fave for the night, I am confident that the Thunder will get the job done.

RAPTORS / CLIPPERS 201.0 OVER @1.93 for 2 UNITS

>>>>> The trend I am backing here are both affected by Raptors and Clippers. Toronto's games after 1 day rest, on the road. They are 4-2 in O/U in this certain situation. LAC is 4-1 O/U after 1 day rest, when playing at home. To top it off, Tor is 12-8 O/u while LAC is 13-6. I am looking at a blowout in favor of LAC, but with the over hitting as well. Something like a 114-98 rout.

That's all I have for tonight. No more additional plays, except for I/R bets.

I will also bet NFL Sunday Night games, but this will not be included in my NBA record, mainly because it is a different sport, and also because I am just tailing some of the hottest NFL cappers around:

RAVENS / REDSKINS 47.5 UNDER @1.97 for 2 UNITS
SAN DIEGO CHARGERS +9.5 @1.75 for 2 UNITS
INDIANAPOLIS COLTS -3.5 @1.92 for 2 UNITS
ATLANTA FALCONS -3.5 @2.04 for 2 UNITS
BEARS / VIKINGS 39.0 OVER @1.86 for 2 UNITS
NEW YORK JETS -2.5 @1.78 for 2 UNITS

Clippers once again showing prowess in the 4th, too bad over failed to hit.. But I had bigger bet on LAC so I'll take it

4-2 on NFL bets, thanks to both phat03 and CMJohnson.. They do know their stuff.

At least a split in my last 2 bets will not be bad thing, but losing both will kill a pretty decent betting day.

ORLANDO
OKLAHOMA

I am actually thinking of placing an I/R bet on this Bucks/Nets game, though..

I seem to have forgotten to place one special bet for Sunday games:

JAZZ / LAKERS 206 OVER @1.75 for 3 UNITS
>>>>> LA Lakers on Sunday Nights. This is their 6th Sunday Night game this season. The other 5 has gone 4-1 in favor of over. ALL HOME GAMES by the LAKESHOW. The line is kinda steep though. Then again, both these teams would prefer to outshoot each other than defend, so a fast-pace high-scoring game is more likely happening than slow-ball.

BOL to all our bets!!!

(I/R) BROOKLYN NETS ML @4.50 for 1 UNIT
>>>>> Current score is 85-77 in favor of Bucks, with 3 1/2 minutes left. Do the Nets have some left to make a comeback? We'll see..
