OKC @ Philly

Long time reader, first time poster

Seems a lot of guys are on Philly tonight. I'm going the other way tonight.

I try to fade teams going back to back.

At the end of the 1st half, Philly was sliding, losing 5 of their last 6. What is more alarming is that in those 6 games, they have only scored 90 or more twice. A team that is having trouble scoring is going to have trouble with the Thunder.

I know Philly statistically plays good D, but Westbrook matches up well with Holiday, and we all know Durant is going to get his. I also don't believe PHilly's bigs could match up with Ibaka and PErkins.

I got the Thunder by a comfortable 8-9.

Thoughts?

im a sixers fan but i have them losing tonight. they just arent as good as the thunder and they are playing b2b coming home from detroit, this game isnt in a good spot for them

Where are you seeing the public is favoring Philly they favoring okc but there are more people than you would think to favor philly and thats what you may or may not consider

The Sixers struggle without Hawes too if I'm not mistaken?

I shoulda said I see a lot of people on this board taking Philly.

they have gotten use to playing without hawes now since he has missed so much time, but still those bigs from okc tonight may dominate the boards on both ends and if thats the case we are in big trouble

Just to make this worse. Nick Collison is playing for the Thunder which adds another big who can rebound and defend down low. Sixers tend to struggle against teams who have solid bigs and guys can protect the paint.

Up 5 at half.

 

Not bad on an account of all the turnovers OKC has so far. I expect them to play cleaner next half.

Wrong. If OKC hits their FTs like they shouldve it would've been over sooner. Goes both ways
