Hey Guys,
Salvatore is over or no play. Look at the box score, he likes to keep the game close. 9 Free throw attempts for Lakers, 26 For Raptors..........That is why Raps won the game.

Spooner+ Salvatore = OVER
Both refs end 2/3's of thier games as OVERS. If yo look at the remianing refs; it seems everyone else is well below 60% in any direction, most right at a game above/below 50%....
Love the tip...

I strictly remember someone here well before the Denv Utah game last week noted this.........
They said msomething along the lines of "Bennet Salvatore on national TV equals fouls, fouls and more fouls, smash over"...
Funnily enough, Denv attempted 48 free throws......I couldnt believe it, total flew over........

That would be me. The Over steamed almost 4 points that morning because of the sole fact Benito was the head ref. I made a small fortune on that game. I follow the top o/u refs religiously.

Nice input , Mikado and Smoke_O ,
however I saw on the refs page here in Covers , that Salvatore last season was 41 Over - 36 Under in 77 games he officiated.
Also, the ATS records in his games seem fair, there is no a big trend on certain attitudes.
For sure, someone in one year can make some relations and change his attitude on the games.
Anyway, there are some nice stats on refs ATS for Home teams..,check it out on the Covers section for the referees in NBA.
P.S. For what all these info are worthing,I suppose at the end of the season these stats will break even, maybe slightly 2%-3% above the 50% mark.

Another trick that I see alot of under refs do is they call a ton of off the ball fouls or loose ball fouls but HARDLY any shooting fouls. I cant remember the ref that did this the most last year but its very apparent. By doing this they get star player/starters in foul trouble, disrupt the pace of the game, and when guys are driving to the cup and get fouled hard with no calls they begin to press. You really have to watch theses games to see the tendacies of the bigger name refs.
