Finally time to ball. Nothing like the real deal. It's a long NBA season. It's all about progressive profit. Hopefully we can all help each other stack the bank. Wishing each and everyone of you the best of luck this season.
LOS ANGELES LAKERS - 9.0 (-115) - - - The champs are back and despite popular demand they are better then ever. Internal improvement is key to every team and with Phil Jackson at the helm and Kobe Bryant as the leader you can bet your ass there is internal improvement. First Josh Powell, he has gained about 10 pounds of muscle and is much better on the block. He will be an aggressive big man off the bench and always loves playing against his old team the Clipps. D.J Mbenga is another, he actually may be the "center" of attention on Tuesday. Without Pau Pau he will see a lot of time and there is discussion he may even start. This guy had 7 blocks the last time he played, granted in the preseason but impressive nonetheless. Jordan Farmer is another year older and should get more time at PG as Fish rests during the season. Lamar Odom will cause match-up problems for the Clipps. The Clipps are much improved this season but will not have any success unless they have a full healthy roster. With Baron and Blake doubtful and Marcus questionable I doubt they will have all their weapons against the Champs. Last but not least, it is ring night, and while all the Lakers collect their sparkly bling. Ron Ron will be watching. Despite him being a bit of a fucked up character, he is legitimately one of the best defenders in the NBA. He will prove he is an asset to this team on Tuesday. Showtime by double digits.

HOUSTON@PORTLAND OVER 185.5 (-110) - - - For those of you who know me, you know I do not play totals often...really because I suck at them. But this total is out of wack and I feel confident this baby goes over. Line makers are taking into aspect the 08-09 season. What most don't realize is the Houston Rockets are a completely different team. This total is similar to the playoff total when these two teams battled in the first round. At that time Rick Adelman had implemented a half-court offense around a 7'6 behemoth named Yao Ming. Now they may go from the biggest center in the league to the smallest in 6'7 Chuck Hayes. With players like Brooks, Lowry, Ariza, Budinger, Pops, Battier, Landry and Scola, coach Adelman will be switching to a more fast break up tempo style. Granted it was the pre-season but Houston never scored under 90 points. I suspect both teams to hit 90 on Tuesday night and I do see Portland winning. This game should go over.

(Going with all the faves today. I like the home teams on opening night. Last year all home teams won and covered and I suspect a similar outcome on Tuesday. I do like Mavs and Portland at home but the chalk is a bit too much against teams like Washington and Houston. Despite what most think I just do not see the Cavs dropping the first at home. King and Aristotle should lead the Cavs to victory)
Here's to a fun fuckin season fellas, best of luck gentlemen.

loving the pics Mak, what you think of the cavs/bost game?
3ball good to see you back bud. I like Cleveland. I just do not see them losing their first at home. I don`t think the King would allow it. Parker is gonna be key for Cavs on Tuesday. If you buy points I would buy down to 2.5 or play the ML. BOL bud.
