#102 Posted: 3/13/2009 8:34:37 AM Bro, I know what you're going through right now although I haven't been down that much in the 3 years I have been betting on pro hoops. I guess quitting is not an option for you, so my suggestion is just don't bet on a 10 team parlay. Yes, if you lose, you'll just lose P1,000. But man, what are the chances that you can hit it? The closest I got was a 5 team parlay. Don't dig yourself a deeper hole through reckless betting. Don't follow that gambler's mindset of "I'll get back my losses in time", which most likely you never will, based on how this system is structured. Anyway, good luck pare!

Thats what i do !!! I take 20$ a day and throw it away on a 10 team parlay. I won 50k on a scratch ticket one time, so i believe i can hit a 10 teamer!!!!!!!!! 5 teams, game and over. i hate playing under the total A VERY GOOD handicapper hits maybe 65% of his selections (if anyone has a different opinion, I will not argue) That means, at best, a good capper hits 6-7 out of every 10 selections. Do you see where I am going with this? You are not going to get out of debt gambling, period.

#112 Posted: 3/13/2009 2:51:21 PM There are so many comical things in this thread, I dont know where to begin. I never post, but this is too good.
1. Betting in pesos LOL 2. The breaking down of finances 3. Loan Shark for $550 LOL 4. Timmy saying kill urself had me rolling 5. Chasing a 10 team parlay just to break even 6. One guy offering to be his book LOL
Im not sure if this thread is it, but its pure entertainment. If it is, then seriously bro... Stop gambling altogether. Work shifts, grocery shop and dont eat out, and basically work, eat, sleep everyday for the next 2 months....Youll get caught up before you know it. When youre down and need the money, the bets will never come....

#113 Posted: 3/13/2009 6:54:48 PM sorry for the late reponses
couldnt get to a pc much earlier
my office pc does not allow me to login
im only able to view post using a proxy site
anyway thanks clkclass for the picks
i do want to do this evryday
actually what i was hoping to do was start a thread everyday
and let everyone get on the topic of why i should or shouldnt pick a particular pick
much like willbetanything but this time around we can have reasoning instead of just posting picks
i mean if you tail someone because he posts winners wouldnt you be more confident tailing if you know his reasoning?
there are lots of cappers here in covers but sometimes they put out different or opposing plays its very difficult to choose which one to tail if you dont see their reasoning when they chose a paticular side right?
bottomline are we here at covers to boast of our records?
or help out others?
if we want to help out others put a reasoning why your taking a particular play
all i wanted to do was provide a space for it in this forum
that way newbies and/or down and out of luck bettors can choose from these picks
right?

#116 Posted: 3/13/2009 6:59:19 PM sugalero, thanks for the kind words bro
i did not bet the parlay hoping to erase all of my bets on one single sweep
i do have other plays
im just thinking long term as my banks loans are 2 years to pay
rather than worry about it i would rather risk a 10 team parlay to erase it thats all
im trying to win it back or erase my debts slowly week by week

#119 Posted: 3/13/2009 7:10:59 PM timemaster thanks for the encouraging words
i do have a long term installment plan with my bookie
pay when able
hehehe
he is a good friend have been with him for so long
i paid him some and i still owe him some
other bookies the same deal
i dont have to pay everything at once
misconception of this thread is that almost everyone is assuming i lost that whole amount this week?
no its all tied up with bank loans, bookies who are my friends, and bills (which i dont pay) i just wait for them to cut service on my credit card and cellphone then thats when i pay a certain amount.
hehehe
so hitting this parlay is not the end all be all of my gambling existence
but it would erase all of my outstanding debts which i dont have to worry about anymore right.
posted the 10 teamer and 8 teamer on another thread
wish me luck bro. |

#123 Posted: 3/13/2009 7:19:22 PM courtjester your welcome
at least my thread was able to give you a little entertainment for the day
anyway not all covers posters are from the states and there are lot of covers posters from the Philippines, who bets with pesos
not mexican pesos though
its all true
only thing is i dont think i was able to emphasize the fact that i didnt lose all of that amount in a weeks time
i lost that amount over a period of time
working grocery shifts here is a joke busting your chops for some measly pesos is not worth it
