I thought we need some mojo back and you guys seem to love when I open shop so I have some spare time tonight to open the shop.
Oz NBA: 67-55-4
Axion, I completely agree now with the Cavs @ Pistons game. I am actually heavily leaning the Cavs because James and Co are starting to get a roll on and the Pistons were pretty much out of the game vs Raptors until a late 4Q cover. As the pro's say, take a team in their first game after losing a great player, fade them the 2nd game which is this game vs the Cavs now for the Pistons. Hopefully get a line drop maybe as well.
As for the other games.
Here are my thoughts
Raptors @ Pacers
De Rozan quoted the other day after the Pistons game "it was the best i have felt since being back" that for me means "Beast mode and we are coming to chase after the Hawks and Wiz kids to grab either 1st or 2nd. Pacers off a good win against a Magic team but now they face a hungry Raptors team. I lean heavily on Raptors
Bucks @ Heat
How can you not lean the Bucks in this game? Such a good team that covers so often but the Heat want revenge for a loss to the Bucks not that long ago in MIL. I don't like taking short dogs on the road anymore (between 2-4 points) because as we have seen, there are plenty of times the home fav's have covered due to stupid free throws at the end of the game. Plus Whiteside is a beast and the Bucks are a little depleted.
Grizzlies @ Mavs
Grizz on a B2B against a Mavs hungry for a win after losing to the Pelicans the other day. Had a day's rest to get ready. Hard to go against the Grizz because they are 5-3 S/U on B2B's this season alone. Mavs are just 1-7 at home after a road game as well..
Wizards @ Lakers:
Line is almost the same as what the Rockets were given. My boys much better on the offense than the Wizards but it is the Lakers and you don't know which teams shows up. I am actually not touching any more Lakers games due to that reason.
Bulls @ Warriors
Revenge is on the cards for the Bulls as the Warriors beat them in Chicago about 6-8 weeks ago. Hard to go against the Warriors though at home as they have won their past 19 games there. Will have to see what happens in the other games before I make a decision on this game. If anything, I would play the over because Bull's defense from the past 2-3 seasons is no longer there and I do like Noah vs Bogut and Butler vs Thompson and Rose vs Curry. Should be a fun game to watch.
BOL fellas, lets get our little hideaway thread back up and running.

I will try and drop in more often, been focusing more on tennis lately with all the tourneys down under but is coming to an end so getting back into the nba now.

Is the GSW game a trap game - 9.5? Something is missing with the Bulls. I don't know if it's D-Rose or Paul Gasol is soft as clay.
Deep down inside I think GSW will run Chicago out the gym. I truly think they had their minds on Chicago when they played BOS the other day. Just seems like to many pts in this game, but GSW is so strong at home. I think the bench play will win this game whoever out scores the other.

Sup Aussie and all. The streak dude is on the GSW so that is enough of an argument for me. The Bulls have had a little winning streak via making a bunch of threes (who could've thought that would happen ?). Now that they stopped falling, they look as pathetic as the Jazz on offense.
Other than that, I have not thought much about the other games. Wiz@LAL might be a funny game; a lot and I mean A LOT will depend on what is going on with Young. He is the only Laker who can create and make his own shot on the perimeter; oh and I do not like trusting hippies to cover a bunch of points. Hmm.
Oh, and also Mia seems to be a first half team lately so I might take them 1H; but not sure yet. GL dudes.

Raptors @Pacers can be a funny game too; I am only looking at it b/c this is the only option in my book for an NBA streak survivor pick (those f.cks really started to limit the number of NBA games for the contest). I think Raptors have played so badly that I will not trust them to cover or even win; Pacers on the other hand have played decent and resilient bball lately. Not sure about the over/under part.

OK, if Aussie starts threads again, I will start keeping record of my plays. The totals have been killing me lately so I will lay off my overs addition a bit. Maybe this will help me with my discipline.
Just a side note: it seems that trouble is brewing @DAL with Rondo not fitting in as well as everybody was expecting.
As for tennis: Wawrinka has had issues with his serve and movement; and I expect Keys to be supertight in the 1st set and Venus has been playing pretty well so far.

The Bucks have beaten the Heat 2 times already this season but Deng and Anderson are OUT today. Whiteside has been amazing for the Heat but when you look at the other match-ups on the court + the bench, i think the Bucks have everything going for them in this game. Heat's bench is going to be very depleted for this game with the above out and Bucks just simply keep rolling. Interesting trend as well, this season, the Bucks are 3-1 S/U this season on the road after a loss on the road as a dog. Will take my chances on the Bucks as I think they match up well against the Heat.

No Conley, no Allen, no problem. Seems like the Mavs are a paper tiger. I underestimate Keys, she really did not show much nerves today; if anything it was Venus who looked more nervious.
Good calls micalf and Aussie. Shoulda tailed you Aussie on the Bucks, seems like they are on another upswing at the moment. Coach Kidd can coach, how stupid the Nets are looking right now ?

Yeah, well, Lakers fell apart in the 2H, but so did the Warriors. That was a major boo-boo. And Nishi also fell apart. Posted record 1-5; -3.5u. Not good. Although I lost only about 2.5u b/c of HT hedging, still it does not feel great.

Will keep this thread going until it starts to get ugly.
Some great games today.. A lot of injuries as well though and thats why im posting my plays late these days to get final injury updates before locking in any plays. Lebron is GTD apparently because of a wrist injury and so is Batum. Wall is also a GTD after injuring himself last night again and also Martin returns for the Wolves today vs the Celtics so that should help the Wolves moving forward to actually win some games. They are winless in their last 12 at home. WOW!!!!

I might just watch tennis tonight. Got 0.5u on Makarova +5, but it might be just a wishful thinking bet. But I do not think Jazz have a good chance to beat the Clips, not even close to the ~30% chance the books are giving them.
