I for one would like to chime in and express what a lot of posters have already said in that they respect 44's ability and effort he puts into his picks, whether we choose to follow him or anybody else is purely up to the bettor and in the end we are simply responsible for our own choices and the results of those choices. I thank everybody for their time and effort in posting and providing insight and opinions as to game picks and the writeups that explain their stance on a game. I think it makes it easier to make informed, intelligent choices and hopefully get on the correct side of a game.
The thing I'm noticing about the WNBA is the lack of stability or evenness in the level of play from game to game and even half to half within those games.......there seems to be extreme cases of "lights on, lights off" and sometimes things just don't pan out on the playing surface the same as they do on paper.
I used to hangout at a local bar, people would be talking about the upcoming football games and who's going to cover and this and that......seems like whenever they wanted your opinion and you gave them a 4-2 or 2-1 group of winners they just wanted to b1tch about the losers and rub them in your face. I had one guy just endlessly ranting about the loser in a 2-1 bowl game day I had, I guess he had a better way to make a 27% profit in a day. Needless to say I don't hangout there much anymore, those guys are stuck with each other, their newspapers and voodoo logic of who's going to cover........I've found a lot more information on the internet that gives me a better chance to make an informed decision about a game, basing that choice on the players skill, injuries, coaching, and playing conditions that actually affect the outcome of the game and the susequent pointspread winner.
For me it's "us against the books" and my own personal goal is somewhere in the high 50's to 60% range.......
