#29 Posted: 7/16/2008 11:37:26 AM Both have shown similar productivity with Owens at WR (trying to find something common for a comparison) so I'd focus on age/contract/proness to injury when QB's are fairly similar.
I'd take Romo.

#30 Posted: 7/16/2008 11:48:46 AM When McNabb had the weapons Romo had, he was fantastic. All other things considered, I'd lean McNabb's way for 2008. |

#34 Posted: 7/16/2008 12:28:28 PM If a gun was pointed at my head(I would probably just take the bullet), I would take Romo.. McNabb is injury prone right now & has proven he's a puss in a big game with his throwing up incident in the SB against the Pats.. Is that even true? My vote is for Romo, but they can both walk in front of oncoming traffic

#38 Posted: 7/16/2008 1:20:54 PM I think we should include Bledsoe's choice.

You are correct 100% Eagles fan. However I am not a McNabb fan whats so ever. That is the honest truth.
Going off of Romo vs McNabb. If both are healthy this year then I take McNabb.
However the intangable is what has Romo showed you when healthy vs what has Mcnabb shows you when he is healthy.
Thats the bottom line will both be healhy if so who is the better qb.

PS I would take Favre/Manning/Brady/Big Ben over Mcnabb because they all proved way more then Romo and Mcnabb.

#40 Posted: 7/16/2008 1:40:15 PM laker---------you chill.
You're the one that threw in the variable last night reminding people to consider injury history, etc.
Worried I'm trying to sway it?
Get over it kitten.

#41 Posted: 7/16/2008 1:46:27 PM The point is this...
With everything considered; overall health, proneness to injury, toll the body has taken, speed, agility, etc.....as a GM, coach, or owner...who would you want as your QB for 2008?
That's what this is about itbdubz.....chill out mah man! I've already told you, we're not talking about the past, we're talking about the present WITH all the variables that should be considered. |

McNabb. Been battle tested, stronger arm, and does the job with not a lot of weapons at his disposal.
Romo can't hold for Folk... Come on. |

#44 Posted: 7/16/2008 2:11:06 PM I respect MDAAKD's opinion. His first line is stating he will assume health and go with the stronger arm which McNabb has is valid.
People will knock McNabb for chucking and Romo for not being able to pin a ball for a kicker. It's all relative.

#46 Posted: 7/16/2008 3:43:30 PM I don't hate #5, I've already told you that in the other thread. I've enjoyed watching him play throughout his career......his good years have come and gone, it happens to the best. |

#49 Posted: 7/16/2008 4:41:53 PM McNabb in 8 seasons has had a QB rating over 95 only twice. Romo in 1.5 years has had a QB rating over 95 both times.
i'll take the more consistent QB with more upside since Romo WILL get better since he has only made 26 starts in the NFL |
