Vikings without favre at best 8-8
With favre 12-4
Good luck to all vikings fans you may final get a true QB instead of a young kid who can't play!!!!!
We are contending without Favre moron. You make absolutely no sense with you posts. Pretty funny if you ask me. The nfc conference? How about just the NFC. The Bears will be lucky to win 6 games.

The only way the packers can prevent FARVE going to MINN is to take him and his 13 mill. contract back in the fold. Trading him to the jets lets say for a 6th rounder only sets up a sinario in which bretts agent contacts the jets telling them brett will not report, but if you trade him to MINN, the vikes will give you a 5th rounder. Which would have been worked out with MINN beforehand to give that team who traded for brett 1 round higher in the draft just to flip brett and nothing more.
Once brett is traded HE controls everything!

There have been teams in the past that have a great all around team without the excellent/above avg QB. I have stated this in other posts with plenty of examples. I'm not worried about TJack because he doesn't need to do much guy.

Well it's great that you have that much confidence but these examples that you say you have i can come with just as many examples against it.....
How about the broncos who went 14-2 beat the falcons in the super bowl elway retires 99% of that team returns with new QB brian griese and they don't even make the playoffs.
More current look at how talented the cowboys have been the last couple of years but have not won a playoff game but you expect taravis jackson to just come in and take this vikings team to the nfc championship and or super bowl just does'nt make any sense i'm sorry first you have to pay your dues and T.jacks has not done that. Maybe if they somehow stick with him then maybe 3-4 years from now the vikings strongly contend.
Can't you beat it, deush!!! Nobody wants your negative attitude around here this year. We are winners, and you are a loser, as you are a bandwagon jumper. Easy to pick the best teams and ride them, and say you've been with them from the beginning.

All I am saying that it is possible and it has been done before (and I would not be surprised if he does it IMHO). He knows that system. Why would Childress risk his job over this guy?? He had the opportunity in picking up QBs last year and this year. Sure he picks up Frerotte and Booty, but everyone knows that teams need more than 2 QBs. TJack is the starter regardless. Hmmm, he just might know something you don't I guess.

Didn't the Bears make the Superbowl with Grossman and Griese at QB? For you to say MIN has no chance with Jackson back there makes no sense.
I would have argued that McKinney won't play for a few games, Adrian Peterson goes down to injury or Vikings play what looks to be a very difficult schedule this year if I was going to claim 8-8. I'm not though. I love the Vikes defence. Adrian Peterson will be better conditioned to go a full season this year.
They make the playoffs and like the Giants can make anything happen.
