#1 Posted: 9/5/2007 4:43:38 PM Take Miami plus the points and the Miami Moneyline this weekend, folks. Fins will win this one SU.
Reason:
#1) Take the better QB. Trent Green is still a very serviceable QB. He's better than Jason Campbell and Brunnel combined.
#2) Miami's defense is better, for this particular matchup. The only 3 noticeably decent defenders for Washington are London Fletcher, DE Daniels and CB Springs. Redskins backfield is very suspect, im talking about the corners and safeties.
#3) With all that in mind, Miami's passing attack will be superior to what the Redskins have on defense. Trent Green will pick that inexperienced backfield apart with Marty Booker, Chris Chambers, Ted Ginn Jr., and Az-Zahir Akim. I've ran biorhythm charts and other charts for Miami's receivers versus Washington's defenders. It's a total mismatch.
Caveats:
#1) Redskins do have the better rushing attack. Clinton Portis behind Mike Sellers should have a decent day. Although i think they'll still have a rough time running against 5 Pro-Bowlers in Keith Traylor, Vonnie Holliday, Zach Thomas, and Jason Taylor.
#2) Dolphins 2ndary isn't that great either. Best players for both teams are Will Allen and Shawn Springs.
#3) Trends:
- Dolphins are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games as a road underdog of 0.5-3.0.
-
Redskins are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games as a home favorite.
That's all for now. BBL.

#8 Posted: 9/5/2007 6:02:00 PM I like the call and may get on that myself. Green is actually a very good QB that doesn't get nearly enough respect.
Good points!
Good luck!

#15 Posted: 9/5/2007 11:47:20 PM Under looks like the way to go in this one, I could see a score like 17-13 here with a few defensive scores |

You've just made the case for holding a ML ticket on the 'fins. Isn't the ML close to a +150 payout? .. In a coin-flip of a game ?

#22 Posted: 9/6/2007 1:37:02 AM it's going to be a FG frenzy if that.... take the under, 2 struggling offenses with good defenses, just seems like a better play if i had to pick something to play for this game |
