Hey on the bright side he had only 71 carries last year, and a fresh RB is a good RB in the nfl. You guys desperately need a short yardage back since Lynch left, and since the Hawks stopped running the zone read.

I doubt he will be an every down back no?

They could use a more experienced RB but this wouldn't have been my choice. I heard he's pushin 270 lbs. right now. They have three young studs that just need PT. My guess is they'll try to make him a FB (or short yardage guy as you suggest).........if it works then great. If not they cut him.

You might be ok with his weight in Seattle.....pretty sure the Double Cheeseburgers and cheesecurds he ate twice a day in GB wont be available in Seattle...

Maybe Carroll is thinking of running Wilson more often on designed runs. Lacy would be 1 hell of a road grader.

Pound for pound, he's.......................hmmmmm

Maybe Carroll is right. He wants someone to just run North/South, not dance, because the O-line is so bad. Kind of makes sense.....

Makes sense. I think Carroll is hoping that his more talented backs will have a longer shelf life with Lacy taking those short yardage carries where it's assumed that the RB will take some nasty shots.

Lacy is younger than the the other options, and apparently will have 7 designated weigh-in targets he must hit during the season to realize a $385,000 bonus tied to his weight level

Seahawks have learned that RB is yet another position where too much is never enough; to plan otherwise is to find yourself starting George Farmer at tailback

I'd rather not have a guy on my team that has bonuses tied to a scale instead of production on the field. Carroll & Schneider are pretty crafty with their moves but they don't hit on all of 'em.

If you're a Seahawk fan, you've got to be a little excited about what he can bring on the field.
