Yeah. Let's keep worrying about those indecisions by the imbeciles... Meantime these crooks are laughing their buts off on the way to play gold and enjoy the $$$. They don't give a crap about what happened. It is like a professional boxer losing and still getting a cool million would worry that he lost his belt. Give me a break. We're the only idiots here

Atlanta's downfall: not throwing to their RB's out of the backfield. i think they threw two passes total to Freeman and Coleman. one went for 39 yards . NE's biggest weakness on D is vs pass catching RB's. obviously there were some other huge blunders down the stretch, but to not take advantage of this in the 2H, was an epic error in judgment by ATL coaching staff. what a game though!

People still dont think this garbage is rigged?  How can you people be so stupid?  Why did the Falcons throw?  Because the garbage is rigged.  Kyle Shanahan didn't suddenly become the dumbest man in America.  That was the script.  Wake the F up.

People lets get serious here for a moment.  If you dont believe this was scripted i dont know what to say. Money talks folks.  Huge Money being bet on the Under and more on was on Atlanta and we witness this 'miracle'.    You have the ball on the 20 with 5 min left and you dont run take time off the clock and kick a field goal to make it a 2 possesion game. Instead somehow you get pushed out of field goal range and then a miracoulos 90 yard drive and a 2 pt conversion.
Im not even gonna mention the 3rd and 1 and throw attempt and fumble.  This was the most disgusting display i have ever witnessed and YES i cashed out at Halftime being on Atlanta.

I always find it incredible that thousands of hours of preparation go in to 5 critical minutes of decisions that cost you the whole thing.

And it will all start again soon as everyone starts looking forward to next season.  Players, Xs and Os, millions of dollars, almost a year of prep, a bunch of practices and games - and it all comes down to a few key decisions.

I find that concept incredible.

LOL..Patriots were just destined to win it.   How did the Falcons get out inside their own 10 to the Patriots 25 under 5 minutes in the 4th?  They threw the ball.  Sure you can 2nd guess the call but they were going for the dagger.  The play calling was not the issue.

That's mediocrity though. The closer they keep trying to level the playing field, the closer everything will be. It only takes a couple bounces to decide things sometimes. This was one of those times.

I think they put up a stat that teams up 19+ in the postseason were 93-0 prior to tonight. One of the great coaching meltdowns of all time.

Van, after jones made that catch. They should have ran the ball 3 straight times {who knows how many yards they would have got} make the pats use their timeouts and then kick the fg. Now they would be up 11 and game pretty much over.

Thats 2 fuckin stupid behind coaches who have now handed the super bowl trophy over to the pats by passing the ball when you should have been running the ball.

First carroll and now his student synder

I wish i could get a job that pays millions and not know how to do my job.

If pats blew the falcons out, i wouldnt be mad about losing my bet, but to lose because of pure stupidty and not knowing what the right plays to call, pisses me off.

Glad to see matty choke job, return to his old self

I can't believe they put up that stat. It was with ATL having the ball still up 8 at the time. I thought that would be so sick if this was thought of as a jinx.

Tre Flowers sack was the biggest of many big plays in this game. FG there and the game is over, no way Ryan can take that sack and no way they should have even been throwing there. Everything had to go perfect for the Patriots to win this game entering the 4th qtr. Insanely hard to get 2 td's and two 2 point conversions.

Brady is by far the G.O.A.T and there isn't even an argument to be made against him.  91 yard drive with 3 minutes left and then 75 yards in OT.

CD, they still would have had to kick a 50+ yard FG. He's only going to make that 65% at best, likely less. It's no gimme.

It's called being distracted and looking ahead, Vanz. I truly believe that. The OC obviously was thinking the game was won and started thinking about his new job. He was not in the moment, as they say.

Falcons coaches blew it. Read my post from after the Seattle game. I saw this coming.

How do you take your team from 1st and 10 on the opponents 22 yard line with an 8 point lead and 4:30 left to go in game to have his team punting ball to Tom Brady from roughly midfield ????

Good luck SF you got a hell of a new head coach !!!

Arguably, they were only in the lead at that point because Pats spotted them the 3 TDs early through sloppy passing and catching, and a defense that wasn't even playing until the 3rd quarter.

what are you talking about?  When jones made that catch they were on the 23.  all they had to do was run 3 downs {and who knows how many yards they could have gained, we will never know} then kick the fg.  They should have never even thought about passing down there

Ah my bad. I had meant just before the sack, it would have been a 50+ yarder. From the Jones part, it would have been 80 to 85% on the FG if they don't get another another first down. It's still between 30-40 yards, even if they get down to the 15 yard line.

That's why coaching in football is more important and so different than any other sport, bad coaching in football is the biggest killer than any sport.. and Great coaches over time make a huge difference the other way around

How many times when the game was 28-3, 28-9, 28-12, and 28-20 did you see Atlanta guys casually run out of bounds instead of going down and taking off the 20 or 40(under 6 min) seconds?

Play calling horrid.

A couple smarter plays or bounces go their way and it's a flat out blowout.

A massive hole in an otherwise stellar defense.  I was expecting Atlanta to pump and dump to Freeman and Coleman all night long.  And after that huge dump to Freeman for 39 yards, you'd have to assume they'd keep doing it.  Nope.

Mind-boggling coaching.
