Here's a few solid money line plays that I believe will pay off this weekend. Feel free to comment or add to the list.
1) NYJ + $110 - This is a great spot for the Jets to take one at home against a Bengals team that is certainly talented, but has flaws offensively with a number of injuries to the WR corps especially A.J. Green(currently starting) who has a Q tag and may be a bit limited.
2) Cleveland + $145 - Philly gets the Browns at home and in all reality Cleveland may pull off the outright upset here. I'm not sold on Wentz as QB of the future for the Eagles and RG3 has looked good this preseason while Wentz hasn't played yet in the regular season.
3) Tennessee + $135 - Titans at home against the Vikings. New QB for Minnesota will make it tough on the team, especially on the road. Yeah, they have AP and a stout defense, but Tennessee is well rounded and second year QB Marriota knows the offense and can definitely put it in the end zone. Couple that with a solid run game and decent defense and I'm taking the home team here with a price.
4) Last, but not least, the Lions on the road at Indy look to me to be a great match up that favors Detroit. All things being equal, the Colts have some injuries(including Luck) that could be key here in this game. This will be a track meet and I think Stafford has a great chance to win this game outright and at +$150, I'm in!

There are 5 rookie wide outs for Cleveland. An offensive line that is horrid against a good D Line that can stop the run. Browns? Really?
Arrgy, I understand your thinking, but Hue Jackson is a great player's coach and will have them prepared for this road trip game. I'm not saying the Browns are playoff bound and you're correct, Philly has an above average defensive line and may have an advantage against the weaker Browns O line, but I think the experience of RG3 and a sound running game( with both Crowell and Johnson) will match up well. Thanks for the input and GL

Feels like a huge dog weekend. Den already. I'd add Jax and Washington to your list..
You Wish(how appropriate), I would have to say that I would be on the other side of both of those picks. Green Bay is a far superior team and I don't think Jax is ready to climb that mountain yet against a much more balanced team like the packers. The spread at 4.5/5 is a much better value in MHO.
The Redskins have talent and certainly could win on MNF against the Steelers, but I'm not ready to put my hard earned cash on Cousins and company beating a very seasoned Steeler team just yet. If I were to take the Redskins, I'd want the points, it's just not a strong enough possibility in my mind that the Skins win outright, especially the first game of the season and on national TV MNF. Thanks for your thoughts and GL Amigo

I hear ye. They're both just "public perception" plays for me. According to Bob Scucci (Behind the Bets w Chad Millman), he's got a 10 to 1 ticket count on GB. When the books need a side, and esp when it's a home dog, I like being on that side. Similar situation with the Steelers, big "public" team with the fancy offense as a short road fave vs a "boring" team. I think the books will "need" the Redskins..

I know what you mean, there's the old traditional play as well that says that you should always play the "Dog at Home" with the points on MNF. If I'm not mistaken, I believe it covers at just over 70%. I'm gonna be playin the ML action real close to the vest, especially this early in the season and maybe loosen up a little more as time goes on and patterns of consistency are easier to read.

It's just frustrating to have these clowns come into the forum and blast people's threads. I've got no problem with anyone disagreeing with me, I actually look forward to the banter, but when someone just wants to crap on your parade and make it personal, there's no room for that here and I wish they could be blocked at least from an individuals thread. Oh well, too much good stuff in here to worry about numb nuts anyway. lol

Don't even let them get you frustrated man. I will be on jets today as well, some nice vaule for home team. Think this will be similar to last year, a lot of dogs that win SU

Good Luck Today. Agree with you about the trolls...offer no insight, love to criticize and only love you if your puttin out 80%+ winners....which is not realistic as any true capper knows....
