Its unusual to get any sort of line value backing an unbeaten team this late in the season, but the overreaction to Pats's Edelman's injury and the close game with the G-men makes me feel like I should back the Pats at a pretty reasonable price.
This Pats team held a commanding 37-13 lead entering the 4thQ against these Bills (eventually won by 8) while on the road. And, while Edelman is certainly a big loss for Pats, they at least have the services of LaFell (which they didn't have the first time around) and Gronk led the Pats in receiving yards in that big 40-point scoring effort. Brady is obviously one of the best in the league and distributing the ball to many a lot of different receivers (9 Pats caught passes in that win vs. Bills).................which minimizes the loss of Edelman significantly.
At Foxboro, Pats are out-scoring teams by 19 PPG, and have won every game there by at least a TD. And, Bills beat the Jets on the road last week but are a poor 2-10 ATS on the road after upsetting a divisional foe (winning as an underdog). Pats finished that game against Bills with a 59-15 pass-to-rush ratio, and I think there will be another pass-heavy gameplan this time around as well as the Pats continue to roll with another convincing home win.
