"Colin is our quarterback and we are excited to have him. He is not going anywhere," Baalke said in a statement to CSNBayArea.com. "The media reports suggesting otherwise are without merit and quite frankly ridiculous."

Summa- Why would you believe anything Baalke or the other idiot has to say about this franchise? They will continue to lie to the fans becasue everyone is pissed they just built that new stadium in a shitty location and the prices are ridiculous. As a Niner fan, I might become a Raiders fan becasue of the Niners front office.

Baalke and York are the same guys who were saying all season Jim was the coach and they had no plans on letting him go. But yet the first chance they had and he was gone. York has no business running this team. He's single handily going to run this franchise into the ground. I wouldn't be suprised if that's the reason Willis wants to retire and they can't get Smith back for another year and Crabtree wants out. Jim didn't have a problem bringing back Smith and now Smiths line coach is the head coach and can't get him to stay. You see any problems with that?

It's probably a rumor as the media needs something to talk about during this week. Is anybody really interested in the conference tourneys? IMO this is a dead week in sports so the media needs something to stir up. I also wouldn't put it past York to want Kap gone since that's Jims guy. Who would replace him though? Talk about Cutler for Kap? That's crazy. I'm sure CHicago wants to dump Cutlers contract. Kap has a performance based contract, you know he's wishing he re though that now. Niners are in big trouble. They are losing their identity that they have built up the last handful of years and they are losing it in a hurry.

BigGame you know this team much better, I cannot say how much stock we should put in those words
If Kaepernick is that bad, please let him come to the Jets. He had one of the worst o-lines, an average receiving corps and conceded the second-most sacks with a team that was in intern troubles for a big part of the season. I would like to see what he is capable of with a better o-line, a much better receiving corps and some kind of a spread offense he used to play at Nevada. He is definitely an upgrade over Geno Smith.

Kap just has trouble with putting any touch on the ball and reading this 3rd look. I could probably count the number of balls the backs caught this past season with both hands. He left the read option game plan in the previous season. I think it has to do with the play calling. If his first 2 looks can't get open he resorts to the scramble and teams picked up on that pretty quickly. I think this past season the front office put this team on the ropes. I don't think the coaching staff and front office were on the same page and I think that hindered the team.
Why would Willis want to retire, and why can't the Niners keep Gore and Smith? The leaders of this team have walked away, not to mention the two best coaches this team has seen in at least 10 years with Jim and the most important piece Greg Roman didn't want to stay. I'm assuming that's why the core of the D will not be back next year and I wouldn't be surprised to see others look for a trade. I do have high hopes for Borland however. He will be a stud that can walk in Willis' shoes.
IMO I don't trust a word York says. The guy wants to take credit for how good the team has been, but he'll never admit to making a mistake breaking this team down. The guy says he wants to win with class but yet he can't tell the truth to the fans. How is the classy? He says one thing and the next day it's the complete opposite. I think that explains why everyone is jumping ship, including the seat holders. You're going to see a large number of cancelled seats in the next few months.

Gore leaving opens up a huge opportunity for Carlos Hyde who finally gets his chance to be the 25-30 carry /game horse he is. A downhill running game that defenses have to respect will be HUGE for kap. Boldin, Crabtree, now Torrey smith thats a very nice WR set. Kap isn't going anywhere and I think the niners may actually be at worst an 8-8 team next year

Crab wants out, Smith is know as a deep ball WR which is one of Kaps struggles. He can throw on the run and can throw darts, but don't look for him to loft one over the shoulder. Unless Kurt is working on that pass. It does leave room of Hyde to break out. Could tun into a Eddie Lacy type back.
Think at best the Niners are 8-8. The division is only getting better. Niners seem to be on the opposite side of the division and I wouldn't be surprised if the Niners keep pace with STL next season.
