There seems more emphasis on commentators and 'has been's' talking the game up and dissecting it afterwards than actually time spent playing the game! Its all about razz-a-mataz than the actual sport? Here in the UK football and rugby are dominant, a continuous  90 minute-ish sporting attraction split in two halves without any interference or commercials. Do you think its a cultural thing?
yes, we grew up playing and watching it, just like you grew up doing whatever you do over there in Europe

Is that in football no just the same boring teams and players . With football having all these commercials makes it all about money with soccer there none expect in half time. While in soccer the game mostly keeps moving in football it stops every minute which is very boring. In soccer you need skill in football you just need to be fat and be a brute or run very fast and catch a football which does not really need a lot of skill one example is after Usain Bolt was done with the Olympics nfl teams were asking him if he join as a wide receiver. Bolt never played football in he's life this proves you just need to be fast to be a wide receiver no skill.  I would rather watch a sport with skill. In football the field goals are a joke any soccer player can do it. Would rather see a Rotherham game then the Super Bowl.

Youre trolling as much as u possible can? Regarding Bolt, Manchester United asked him to come play as well, but you dont know what the fk you are talking about. Theres a reason NFL teams would want him, hes fast as lightning (the fastest man on earth) and hes pretty athletic as well on top of that so it makes perfect sense, perhaps they would be able to shape him into the typa play they would want. God some people are dumb as darn.

We're not all like that. Ive played for around 10 years (soccer) and im born in Europe but i still think NBA and NFL is more exciting than soccer.

the NFL is boring?

you're either delusional, or from the other side of the world....

complaining about commercials? who do you think pays for the broadcast? everyone's entitiled to their own opinion, unfortunately this thread and the 'boring' commentary has no merit...to each their own

there is so much more to the nfl besides the season it self theres the nfl combine, the nfl draft, and nfl preseason, the playoffs and the superbowl how can anyone say its boring plus if you watch college football you get to see future NFL players in college or  FK up their lives like johnny football. By the way the correct way to pronouce it in the U.S. its called College not University like they say it over seas. We really dont have a minor league system like in baseball. College Football is the minor league system. All the has beens and rejects go to the CFL or Arena football

AGREED. I think that handicapping a soccer game is just to simple your  choices are win draw or lose. Where is the huge amount of math that tells you how good a team really is. Any team can beat any team in soccer or tie. In american football we rarely tie games
