Another season in the NFL I would like to thank the Bears and Lions for their choke job
Its playoff time Four games this weekend and here we go:
KC/Indy -2.5 over 46.5
This is the least interesting of the 4 games this weekend in my opinion. I dont see either of these teams having a chance to win past this week. Indy is the hardest team to read in the NFL, they look great one week and lay an egg the next 3 and vice versa. Obviously, losing Wayne brought Lucks numbers way down. The Colts ended the year winning 4 of 5 and looking pretty solid, including a win @ KC. KC I think was the biggest fraud in the NFL this year. The last team to lose a game, but beating not any good teams...and they end the year with 5 losses. They have a solid d, but their offense is iffy. I think this game is 50/50 on who will win. I see nothing wrong with backing either team and this number. However, in my opinion, I think they under is the safest play. I am thinking both teams play it smart, run the ball and let the D handle the game. Unless of a couple Def/Special teams TD, I feel safe to say this game wont see 6/7 TDS.
Game #1 Under 46.5
Saints/Eagles -2.5 over 53.5
I think this is such a great game. Both explosive offenses, against defense that give up big plays as well. Although both Ds have been playing better, I still dont trust either of them. I think the Saints could be dangerous but them having to win 3 road games to reach the Superbowl is something I dont see happening. The Eagles are fun to watch.....GO GO GO. However, will that work in the playoffs. I think it will, and I think it will against the Saints. Once again, I dont think there is a reason to play either side here as both teams should move the ball well. I think the safest play is the over. The total is set at 53.5, which is very high for a playoff game being played in 10 degree weather, but I think that is because this game will see 60+ as both teams shouldnt have an issues scoring 28 each.
Game #2 Over 53.5
San Diego/Cinncy -7 over 47
Cinncy is my Superbowl team from the AFC. Yes, I said it. They have tasted playoff failure, and now is the time they step up. Cinncy is 8-0 at home and 8-0 ATS....although GB should have won . Cinncy won 7 of 8 games at home this year by 7 or more, and 6 of those wins were by 10 or more. This team has weapons all over the field. They have two very good RBS who both do different things, then about 4 or 5 WRS who can beat you all over the field. The only question is how many mistakes will Dalton make? It is time for him to step-up. Their D is great, and a bad matchup for every team in the AFC. They are big, fast and hit you in the mouth. They have the perfect team to beat every team in the AFC, even winning at Den and at Pats. Now, I see ALOT of love for SD which I dont understand at all. They are beyond lucky to be here after beating a 2nd string team in OT, in which they should have lost. Yes, SD beat Denver in Denver, but thats because Denvers D stinks and cant stop the run. San Diego will not control the ball like they did in that game. I dont see this game being close at all. I wouldnt be shocked to see this game being a 17-21 point or more.
I also put $400 on Cinncy at 7-1 to win the AFC
Game #3 Cinccy -7 HUGE
