Won't find a more heartbreaking loss all season than what happened to the
Rams last week. That was a must win to keep there slim hopes of a playoff bid
alive but they fell 2 yards short. Chris Long as well as the whole defense was
shocked and speechless on the sideline as the offense failed to convert in the
end. The Rams nearly tripled the Seahawks in yardage and doubled them in time
of possession and still lost. No way in hell will they be able to muster up the
same amount of energy against the Titans. They will be extremely flat. Sole
fade on the Rams against a decent Titans team with a strong defense off a bye
week.
New Orleans Saints @ New York Jets
I knew the Jets would be flat coming off an overtime win against there most
hated rival Pats 2 weeks ago. The outcome was an epic beatdown from start to
finish. The Jets fell behind early having to abandon the run game, falling
right into the hands of where the Bengals wanted them. They'll rebound here off
a blowout loss however. The Saints possess one of the worst rush defenses in the
league, no reason not to believe the Jets will be able to establish the run
making things easier for Geno Smith. Brees has always been average on the road
in his career, he's been a bit better this season but he hasn't had to face any
tough defenses on the road yet. There two road wins this year have been against
the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-7) and the Chicago Bears who's defense has been one
of the worst in the league (27th against the pass). After this non-conference
game, the Saints get to host the Dallas Cowboys on SNF, followed by a big game
against the San Francisco 49ers making this non-conference tilt mean very little to the 6-1 Saints. Jets should be able to keep this one very
close.

Capper I have already unloaded on the Titans but kind of wishing I could take my bet back. I might even but it back..I wrote this on another thread..If anyone can get these guys focused its Jeff Fisher. They are playing his forner team. The Rams players will by into the fact. Great motivation to get over a heartbreaker. Tennesse's run D is bad AND they are not as good as people make them out. The Titans may cover but I do not see a blow out. That is for bext week when then Rams play the Colts on the road. That will be my play of the season, don't care what line they give. Heartbreaker to Seattle, playing coaches old team then Clemens on the road to an Indy team thats hopefully upset this weekend...
"I was HUGE on the Titans but now wish I could get my money back off the bookies. Listen this is a fascinating matchup. I will give you the Pro's to betting both sides (just my opinion)..
The Rams are not far off a playoff team. Next year they will get two high round first picks. Pick smart and play free agency well and all of a sudden you got a team. That defense will develop into an elite unit. Chris Long, Robert Quinn, Finnegan (debatable) etc etc. Stacy is gem at round 5 and if Bradford is healthy I am taking the Rams here.
Fisher being a former coach of Tennesse is another angle. This has to be a factor. A game winning factor will depend on other tangibles.
One of those tangibles is Kellen Clemens. This guy is bad. He is so bad I put my money on the Titans. Not only that but the Rams are coming off an emotional loss Monday night. They left their hearts out there. Difficult to pick yourself back up when you see your three division rivals alll winning and pulling away.
Titans are not out of the playoff race. A win here is a huge for them and I feel just like the Dolphins Monday night this team will be hungier. They have a weeks rest and Chris Johnson could have a big day against the Rams rush D which still has problems defending the run. As for the Rams rushing attack surely Tennesse can stack thye box and minimise the guys effectiveness. Is he (Stacy) 100%. If not then I would be very confident in Tennesse
I think its close game one way or another. There are 3 points out there so I would take the points. I actually see the Rams losing another heartbreaker BUT the Jeff Fisher angle and the fact the Rams are not as bad as people make them out to be makes it a min play. Sadly I unloaded thinking Stacy was out.....Moron I am..
Expect Tavon Austin to have a decent game and Rams to lose a heartberaker back to back. Just my hunch.."

Mack, I thought of the fisher angle too but it's not as relevant since it's in St. Louis. If he was traveling back to Tennessee it'd be a different story.

Good luck, good call on the fins and love the titans play. rams defense looked so good becuase they had a huge mismatch with quinn and long going up against back up tackles, hurrying wilson and not allowing the chance to take advantage of alot of single coverage. rams will not have that mismatch advantage this week

Road favorites off a bye have been absolutely money over the years. Harbaugh has also never lost off a bye (5-0). While I agree the browns defense is highly underrated, they still have a big problem at the QB position. I don't play over unders much but the steelers play is one I almost made myself but passed on cuz I hate betting against my team as I'll be cheering for them while watching it. No lean on the raiders game

Agree on TN but totally opposite on NYJ. Saints D much better than stats show. Don't see NYJ running all over them. Saints know Ivory and are anticipating a running game match up from NYJ. Jets secondary will have there hands full all day long with Brees. Brees vs Smith...Take Brees all day long. BOL today
