Ireland making great moves for the Miami Dolphins today. Wallace and Ellerbe! Lets go, fins starting to look promising. let's get Cook or Woodson now to complete a great free agency day.

Lets go Dolphins.

Cook to the Rams, damn.

I really want them to draft Tavon Austin. It would be hell to cover Wallace, Austin, Bess when they line up in four receiver sets. Throw in Millers speed out of the backfield and Hartlines hands and the Fins went from no weapons, to a very dangerous offense.

I hope they go WR in the 1st round, and then CB, OL and safety every other round of the draft

Its looking more and more like Xavier Rhodes will be their guy. Even if they don't trade down I think he's the pick at 12. CB is by far the biggest need and we need at least 2. If they go that route I would absolutely love Okafor or Caradine in the 2nd or 3rd.

The Dolphins still may draft a receiver. Possibly Bailey or Swope, but it will not be Tavon Austin.

Sleep on the Dolphins while you can Mattbrot..You won't be able too for long.

This is the first time since the 2002 season when they got Ricky Williams that this team is a threat. The future is as bright for this team as any team in the league.

Other than the Seahawks, point me out a team this young, with this much talent.

I hear what you are saying. But there are some teams in the sports world that fall into the "I will have to see it to believe it" category.

For me -- the Dolphins are one of those teams.

We basically have the second seed in the AFC East looked up now, and we are filled with talent, and there's still enough room for more improvement.
Wouldn't surprise me if we got Woodson, or another secondary player. And possibly draft a Austin or Rhodes(I love Rhodes) seen him play in multiple games.

Absolutely not.

This team has a lot of youth and a lot of talent.

I projected the Fins record correctly last year. I will have to see the schedule for a more accurate prediction. 10-6 is where I have them pegged right now.

No need to jump the gun. Just enjoy the fact they are improving, and finally have some skill set offensive players. Tannehill will be in a Fins uniform for the next 10 years though. Very, very impressed with his play last year. The numbers weren't great, but 3 of his INTs were all thanks to JJ Swat.

I agree. However, over the their last 25 games they are 13-12.

This team is HARDLY the laughing stock many people make it out to be. Add some crazy nice free agent signings and hole filling and the AFC is now on notice

Bills and Jets? They don't even have a QB . Both teams are going down hill real quick

Gotta say there are definitely some Dolphin's fans in here with illusions of grandeur. This team still has a long way to go, but definitely are making the right steps. You still need a secondary and line backing corp to stop the Patriots...

Maybe when Brady retires? Till then, saying you have the second seed locked up is absolutely ludicrous.

Bucs spent a billion on UFA's last year and finished 7-9.  No guarantees with this stuff.

I'm not saying guarantee playoffs and a ring. But we are 100% in the right direction, not to mention the patriots are about to lose welker.

I can deffinetly see a 10-6 possible season. But if you honestly think right now the jets or bills have a chance to finish ahead of us you should rethink sports.

BUCS are making great moves good for them.

Darnell Ellerbe, Phillip Wheeler, Kevin Burnett and Koa Misi are nothing to sneeze at.

This team needs o-line help and secondary. Linebacker is not one of their problems.

My mistake @chuckDiesel. Yes, the Dolphins absolutely will finish 2nd in the AFC East or better. I thought you meant 2nd seed in the AFC.

Dolphins linebackers play the run much better than the pass. What I meant to say, and should have been more clear as to why I was lumping linebacking corps with a secondary, was that they get shredded by the Patriots on short routes.

Welker and the tight ends always have big games against the dolphins.

Dolphins definitely have good run stopping lb's, just need to play the pass a bit better.

Dolphins definitely finish 2nd or better in the AFC east. I too thought that poster meant 2nd seed overall AFC. :P

Comments like this are worthless. So many people called the Dolphins a 1 or 2 win team last year. Saying they'd have a top 5 pick in the draft for sure.

Guess how many of those people came back when it was all said and done? ZERO.

You know nothing about the Dolphins. You don't know they have a top 5 run defense. You don't know Cameron Wake is one of the best d-lineman in the league. You don't know Tannehill went two 4 game stretches without throwing an interception, and over the last five games of the year he threw 5 TDs and 1 INT. (WITH NO WEAPONS) You don't know that the only 2 times Lamar Miller got 10 carries in a game, he averaged 6.5 yards a carry, and 7.3 yards a carry.

If you want to debate, please come at me with facts and not "they suck"

Agree. Their linebackers do struggle against the pass.

Pretty much all his posts are about 5 words and have as much substance as that one did. Just ignore it. Easy to sling opinions with no evidence or reasoning to back it up.

Dolphins are making good moves, but I wouldn't get too excited.

They overpaid for Ellerbe by a large amount.  He wont be worth it.  Inconsistent & injury prone.

Mike Wallace doesn't do much for me b/c hes full of drama.  He will scare other teams though.

They better figure out what they will do about LT w/ Jake Long gone or he wont have time to throw the ball anyway.  & no, Bryant McKinnie isnt the best answer

Jake Long was pretty bad last year. Not sure if this is true, but wouldn't totally shock me, there are rumors that they want to move him to rt and thats why the two sides are so far apart. Might sound crazy to some but he really was that bad. Many projected him to be rt coming out of college and the off system they run isnt really suited to his stengths. Jake's only 28 but injuries have already taken a large toll on him. There is a very good chance his career arc might mimic Tony Boselli's.

They might sign McKinnie and i've read reports linking Eric Winston to the Dolphins. If they don't bring one in Lane Johnson might be a guy they consider at 12.

I'm thinking we sign Winston and Keller. Lose long to the Rams tomorrow. But we also have 10picks in the draft this year, so a lot of room to improve still
