The SuperDome will be rocking with Niner fans. It will be like a home game for them.
You are probably more right than wrong, and i think 49ers are a more popular team in that general superbowl fans without a team are more likely to go for the 49ers but I still don't see the see the venue helping he 49ers enough to influence the game. (at least i hope not )

my opinion, but "what if they were at home" is clearly not applying here in the playoffs.... they were 4/4.5 at atlanta and there's no way if they switched that game to sanfrancisco last week they'd have been 10/10.5
just like this week.... can't add 3 points because that would stick the opening line at 8, and i think they'd never have done that..... even at 5 they got tons of early baltimore action. Just look at these boards on covers..... doesn't mean it's a loser (public has nailed the superbowl several times the past few years) but it's obvious more people would take the points at this point
baltimore more battle tested
baltimore knocks off denver AND new england
baltimore with veterans on defense vs. 2nd year QB
baltimore awesome through the air, niners looked ugly in 1st H
baltimore seems like team of destiny
baltimore with better FG kicking game
HOWEVER ---- dome / turf should help the niners big time as should ability to stretch the field.... baltimore takes their shots down field, but everything else in 15 yard box that the niners can stuff --- atlanta's weapons are strong and they got 0 pts in 2nd half, about what Packers got in 2nd half the week before.
seems like tight game, i think niners kicking issues will turn out to be a positive..... akers kickoffs were still awesome, meanwhile they're playing for 7 not 3, which is what knocked them out of the playoffs last year...... no more settling.
Both defenses should tighten up and get off the field.... can't see both teams getting past 23/24 points each..... hoping / thinking the niners have 1 more big play in them than the ravens.

Keep in mind Kapernick came to the Superdome this year and had a great game in his first start. Ravens last visited the Dome in 2006 in which they beat the Saints. Not saying this makes a huge difference but maybe enough to the THE difference.
