Denver for sure, LOCK for the Super Bowl.
Patriots vs Denver is already written in by the NfL for the AFC championship. |

#6 Posted: 12/23/2012 8:07:02 PM Well, I see that as very possible... but no other scenarios? Really?
For me, NE is still the fave in the AFC. Denver's hard to judge, because they keep winning, but it's been a soft schedule.
And Payton Manning's career playoff stats are thoroughly unimpressive. Somewhere around Brett Favre's.
I also like Bellicheck in a chess match against Fox any day...
But it looks like one or the other of those in the AFC. Everyone else is out. Houston? A mirage. Baltimore? Flacco. Just, "Flacco." This year's AFC is a great argument for making the wild card immune to conference. Colts or Bengals wouldn't be .500 in NFC East, West, North, or probably South.
NFC? Very wide open. My Packers, starting to run the ball, getting Clay Matthews back... much improved.
But our offensive line remains highly suspect. Aaron Rodgers has been hit close to 100 times this year.
So Green Bay still struggles against physical teams... like the NY Giants a couple weeks ago.
Giants may be out, but not SF, and not Seattle. My fellow cheezeheads incensed about the terrible game-ending call forget that Seattle pushed us around for most of that game.
In other words, I see any of those three as a potential rep for the NFC... and wouldn't count out the Redskins or (oh, yah) the Falcons.
Gun to my head? 49ers vs. Patriots.
But I sure hope it's Denver-GB. All real Packer fans want revenge for, well you know...

#9 Posted: 12/24/2012 2:30:53 AM Really? Name one team that is going into the playoffs hotter than SEATTLE? Sure everyone is going to say they can't win on the road. Well they are on a little road winning streak now too. 2-0 I see it shaping up to be Greenbay vs Seattle in the NFC Championship. Would be great. |

I just don't think Packers have the defense to get to the big game though... |

You just ruined every Broncos fans day and mine, What you wrote is exactly why they won't be making it to the Super Bowl, Thanks a lot, I really fancied watching Peyton play in the Super Bowl but your square mentality just reminded me they won't even make it to the AFC championship game now.
