#2 Posted: 12/4/2012 12:14:19 AM i like patriots 2 game 7 point teasers in this if vegas dont come off the -4....that looks to be a hard 4 in any case (just made that up but it works) ie it wont move much unless some big drama....patriots defense is really starting to tune up nicely but that doesnt mean the under will be an option for me....the pats are my team, valued above the celts the sox and alabama they are gonna win the superbowl this year ( i believe vs the falcons) and they are gonna beat the texans to try and steal homefield which is the surest way to get there...the texans stand no chance of stopping the pats offense in foxboro zero...if welker finally starts catching passes this cud be a blowout the way they got woodhead flowing right now but the d will be challenged so... 6 point win i'm thinking.... teasers the way to go early and often..... |

#3 Posted: 12/4/2012 12:48:30 AM I was saying to myself..."How can you bet against Eli in December?" The same type of thinking applies to Tom Brady and company...After watching the Giants make a few mistakes to the 'Skins, I'm debating if I should play Houston in this game. Both the Pats and Texans have cashed me many tickets this season. Maybe I'll play the game total instead hah!
I'll probably lean towards the Under...Pats couldn't score for shat against a weak Miami team. Texans can put up some points, but I feel that Pats defense has been playing better every week.

#5 Posted: 12/4/2012 1:41:58 AM 419 passing yards for Stafford vs Texans and 372 for Gabbert/Henne combined vs Texans. Hell Jake Locker even had 309 vs Texans last week. Just something to look at...

#7 Posted: 12/4/2012 2:00:29 AM Pats have good ats in MNF at 4-0, and they also rebounded well after ats loss in their previous game. 11-1 team should not be 5 pts (open) dogged to a 9-3 team, even on the road. i'll take Pats spread. |

#13 Posted: 12/4/2012 5:03:00 AM Patriots seem to overlook lot of teams, have a close game then make a statement next game. Won't be overlooking this game on primetime |

#16 Posted: 12/4/2012 9:37:19 AM people keep bringing up old news about houston secondary getting burned vs jags, detroit, and green bay. who cares jonathan joseph didnt play in two of those games and vs green bay he was playing hurt. when he is healthy it is a big difffeence maker.
i am taking the points any day. JJ WATT will get his hits and sacks and batted balls.

#18 Posted: 12/4/2012 9:47:09 AM No brainer here. With Texans defense mixed with MNF factor when everyone will be on Over - this is an easy Under 52! |

#21 Posted: 12/4/2012 9:51:50 AM haha an easy under bro? chad henne dropped like 30+ points on the texans.... the texan's secondary is a joke, and the patriots isn't much better to be honest. Brady will absolutely shred their secondary and the pats will put up at least 30. Is this supposed to be a good game? |

#24 Posted: 12/4/2012 10:06:24 AM You lads are being A NAIVE here. This is MNF and on MNF there are different set of "rules". Check back on MNF's - almost all of them were "supposed" to go Over and most of them went under. This is business not a high school football. By what you're saying the oddsmakers are stupid and you just found a Chicken that lays golden eggs in form of Brady. I a=have Under on my thread and I'll be here on Monday too (if I won't drink myself to an oblivion by then) and we shall meet again. And Shrimp - old timer like yourself who is a regular at the penalty box where the real deal is dealt - I'm surprised at your stand toward's MNF! |

#25 Posted: 12/4/2012 10:41:23 AM Very meaningful game for playoff seeding as Houston and Indy still have two games within the last three. Imagine if Indy could win both of those and New England takes down Texans here-that would give the division to the upstart, destiny driven Colts who seem to really have the MOJO as this Season draws to a close. What a CRAZY YEAR! |
