#5 Posted: 4/26/2012 8:50:04 PM Dallas traded up for Barron? I bet they could have stayed at #14 and got him. Bad move IMO. Think Cox or Claiborne would have been the pick.
Train for once I agree with you. NFL has turned to a passing league and would never take a RB that high. |

Tampa wasnt gonna take Richardson even if they did trade up to #3.....Clev got the player they wwanted no matter what.
Dallas with a great move to get Claiborne at #6 and only giving up a 2nd round pick.
STL really fucked up by trading the #2 so early to Wash. They could have got a much better deal if they waited til testerday or this morning. |

#10 Posted: 4/26/2012 11:12:41 PM Jets would have traded for that spot. Cleveland needs a bloody wr and qb. How many times do teams get a quality rb in rds 2-4 but instead they trade up to get Richardson at 3? |

#11 Posted: 4/26/2012 11:16:46 PM it amazes me how teams will trade so much for draft picks and so little for players, baffling
asante samuel for 6th round pick, morris claiborne for 2nd. its crazy, i get the money but still |

#15 Posted: 4/27/2012 12:15:58 AM Bucs would have moved to 3 if they didn't. They had to...it's the guy they wanted. And they may have given up some picks, but I don't think it was too much.
Dallas with the move of the night IMO...great stuff

Train.. It is not so much that they traded up one spot (that in itself would of been stupid). It is that they feared other teams would of traded for that spot to get TR. Other teams, who wanted TR, knew that cleveland was going to take him (right or wrong) and therefore Cleveland decided that they could not let that happen. |

#17 Posted: 4/27/2012 1:11:30 AM It's like when you buy a point.. most of the time you don't need it and you end up paying a bit more for your win, but sometimes it's worth the price for the insurance

Aint signing 13 players.....Got a great Rb and a flyer on a potential sleeper QB... IMO Oak St QB just may be the steal of the 1st round ... In todays NFL a quality QB is a must now worth a gamble to try and find one.. Great draft for the Browns today.. |

Browns or a lucky team picking up Richardson, the trade up was a good move. If you think nobody else was going to try and get him your dead wrong Train.
He's a workhorse and will be ready on day one, and he don't fumble the ball either, and is great catching the ball when Colt has to get rid of the ball fast.
Enjoy the moment...its going to be fun to watch the next Emmit Smith in NFL.
Richardson will be rookie of the year!!!
Browns learned their lesson from last year passing up Julio Jones, when players leave Alabama and or elite players from high school to college you can't keep letting other teams draft them if theres a why you can improve your team.
If you won't to talk about a bad pick they made you can say Weeden was it. Colt McCoy is a better QB. Paying Weeden millions coming out the 1st round is stupid at his age. |

Eagles runningback Lesean Mccoy is very Emmitt Smith like. |

#22 Posted: 4/27/2012 7:13:41 AM Trent richardson is an all-pro level back. The best back to come out of college since adrian peterson. Hes the perfect back for their division also. Nothing wrong witg giving up a few hit or miss picks for an all-pro back when you have that many picks. Good move by cleveland |

#23 Posted: 4/27/2012 8:29:20 AM The pick I don't get is Weeden at #22. I think Colt can be successful in this league with a solid supporting cast and he was never given a chance. |

#24 Posted: 4/27/2012 9:39:00 AM flamingo enough about mccoy he's not a franchise qb. I said it to jacksmack the browns can get andre johnson calivin johnson and larry fitzgerald tomrrow and with mccoy or weeden you'll be 6-10. Pur Rodgers on the browns they're 8-8 because aaron makes everybody better. Mccoy doesn't
It tells you all you need to know that his teammates didn't fight James Harrison when he used that cheap hit on that thursday game. If he was the guy they would've fought and beat the crap out of harrison
As far as richardson this is 2012 not 1954 should've taken blackmon. 2 wasted picks |

#25 Posted: 4/27/2012 10:05:20 AM Weeden is more talented and more of a pro qb than McCoy. |
