San Francisco 49ers @ Arizona Cardinals

Arizona has won 4 of their last 5 SU and ATS and have given up an average of 17.2 total points in that span. This team is playing better defense and have tons of momentum especially after that win in overtime to the cowboys. The 49ers already beat the cardinals earlier in the year by 16 but that was with John Skelton at the helm. Revenge and motivation will be on the Cardinals side on this one. Arizona playing at home and the 49ers have locked up the division, are missing their best defensive player and perhaps the biggest stable is that they are playing the Steelers next week. Most of the 49ers games this year have been against sub .500 teams this year so you can bet after that beating they took against the Ravens earlier in the year, Jim Harbaugh is already gameplanning for the steelers next week. The 49ers havn't beat anyone this year and Harbaugh wants to show they are legit contenders. This game means nothing to the 49ers. Huge look-ahead spot for the 49ers  the division is locked up, star defensive player is out going against a hot arizona team with momentum , revenge, and homefield advantage on their side.

Arizona +4
Arizona ML

I think the 49ers have covered enough already this season.  AZ mojo is nuts right now

CB's Brown and Rogers questionable...no good for the secondary.  No Willis.   Bad spot for this 49er team.  I dont believe they will be on point in this game.

Went over this already, the San Fran defense is the best they have faced since the last time they played.

What strong defenses have the Cards beaten? Any?

You are mistaken in thinking the 49ers have no motivation to win the game, seeding is a big deal (ask the Cardinals) and the 49ers are not going to sack this game.

I'm with wallstreetcappers

Who has Arizona beaten recently that makes you confident they can beat a good team like San Fran? And please don't say Dallas and Philly are good teams.

The only rationale I can think of to warrant any consideration on Arizona is that SF has wrapped up their division. But, they still have to play for a 1st round bye. So, that isn't too much cause for concern.

SF has been great on the road too. Arizona lacks talent and has become overhyped since they've been beating scrubs (overrated scrubs, at that)

SF wins big

27 - 9

Who have the Cardinals beaten? Who have the 49ers beaten? The Rams? Browns? Redskins? You say the eagles and Cowboys suck yet the 49ers lost to the cowboys and beat the eagles by 1 needing a 20 point comeback to do so.

You're somewhat right. Emphasis on somewhat.

The Cards are one of the worst teams in the league. I'm just saying don't be too swayed by their recent wins against teams that are known to play down to their competition.

and from 2006 through 2011 the last 10 games between niners and cards, niners are 7-3 SU and 7-2-1  ATS.

Only brought this up since you used a trend as well.

the thing is that the niners own the cards as of late also. like the niners here. big public play probably but rightfully so. if the cards lost to the cowboys last week by 7, which was the line on that game, i guarentee this line would be 7.5. they didnt tho thankfully and now we have a sweet line on san fran.  i always see your plays league capper and often agree with u but opposite here.

gl to u tho

also just checked, since the kurt warner era ended, the niners have outscored the cards 132-45 winning and covering all 5 of those games. also for the record i do know niners dont blow teams out, but they have a sick d and great kicker, and so i dont hate your plus 4 line you got, could win but i bought the niners down to 2.5 -130 earlier in the week. think they def win by at least 3. we will c. leaning dever pats titans texans giants also not sure yet, hope we both win, wouldnt be surprised with 3 pt niner win at all, most the public would still lose

On paper, this looks like a perfect spot to nail Zona, but my gut is screaming to stay away. GL on your wager though.

For what it's worth, guy leading the Hilton Contest at 46-15-4 has AZ +3.5 as one of his plays.

I keep going back and forth with this one. I just feel like 49ers could blow them out. When you say "they have won 4 out of the last 5" the one they lost was against the Niners. If the line moves in their favor (not like it wouldn't) I will probably put a small amount on the spread... but ML, I just don't see that happening.

About that Hilton guy, I hate seeing his picks against mine. I was going to go ATL, NYG, SF, and I see he has CAR, DAL, ARI...
