At least four of Parker's clients had contract issues last season. Bills tackle Jason Peters skipped 43 days and missed the season opener. Rams running back Steven Jackson held out for 27 days before signing a new contract. Bears return man Devin Hester did not report for the first two days of camp before signing a new deal. And Cardinals rookie cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie missed two practices before signing his contract.
 
Part of the problem, according to the report, is that the No. 10 pick is looking to break the bank, as Parker is looking for a blockbuster deal for Crabtree. The theory is that Crabtree should have been a top-five selection.

I hope he does sit out a year. If he thinks he can just reenter next years draft and make more money he is out of his fucking mind. He has already fucked himself, you know players are seeing this and just can't wait to tee off on him. I wouldn't be shocked if Singletary put a helmet back on and knocked some sense into him.

i hope he doesnt play and realize like mike williams and beanie wells that this is the nfl. they dont need u.   what happens to san francisco pick then? do they just lose it or do they get compensated?

this story is hilarious. let him sit out. he'll lose the money he would of earned this year. plus, he'll get drafted lower cause he'll be out of the game for a year and teams won't want to deal with his crap. so he'll get less money.

This kid is awesome on the field, I just dont understand the mentality of some athletes nowadays. If his agent is telling him to do this, he should tell him to f**k off, I wanna play!

Stafford getting that money was rediculous. How can any team give a qb that kind of money coming out of college?  HOw many first round busts have we seen over the years getting big money?  Big risk.  If i'm an NFL team, I don't draft qb's out of college and pay big money. I would get a QB with experience.
