Where abouts are you seeing this message? Is it when you try to access certain pages or logging in/out? Please gove us as much information as you can.

It occurs whenever I'm going from one thread to another. Or when I'm trying to access a new matchup from a previous matchup. It happens frequently. To get out of it, I need to click on the Sports Forum button in the upper left hand corner.Which will take me to the Forums page to select the Forum I want to be in.  Or click on the matchup button to take me back to the matchup page. Then select a new matchup.

Alright,

Is it from a phone or computer you are seeing this? It could be a situation whereby you have to update your browser to the latest version. If this does not work we will get IT to look into it.

Hi Tinfoils,

Could you provide us with the full error message that you are seeing. Could you also provide us with what browser (and browser version) you are using aswell as where you are located.

For the time being please try and use a different broswer. Once you get back to me with the info, I will get IT on the case right away!

And yeah I'm getting that message a lot these days as well. Initially I thought it was just due to high traffic, but that's not the case anymore.

I'm having the same problem also , I report it to Rizzo a few days back , HERE........ 


It looks like the issue haven't been resolve yet, I'm still having the same problem ....

i get it to from time to time, I just hit the back button then click again. sometimes F5 works.

Get used to hitting F5 on a consistent basis.  The IT team has succeeded in installing a plethora of pop-up ads that have caused pages to regularly freeze. 

Covers new policy is that if you can make an extra buck by screwing up the whole site, then it is well worth it.  Poor customer service is the business model for many places dealing with degenerates like myself.  Just look at the shitty way Vegas and race tracks treat bettors nowadays.   They don't care if the older, regular members leave, as long as they are replaced by more young, delusional gambling adults.

Hey Guys, I have spoken to IT about this and they are lookingh into it. At the moment it is only a small number of users affected so the priority was quite low meaning they had to deal with more pressing issues. Hoping they can get this fixed up for you guys soon!. Will keep you posted!

Rizzo that's a terrible statement. So your flawed thinking here is that if only 100 people complain, it's only happening to 100 people? It's happening to me too. I think it's safe to assume it's happening to a majority of members. Maybe if there wasn't so many meaningless garbage ads, this wouldn't happen.

happening to me too. made a thread a few days ago about it.was told to try updating my browser, didnt work. tried using google chrome and site seems to be working fine for the last half hour for me.

Trust me GiLmo and spartacus if it was happening to everyone there would be alot more that 8-10 people complaining about it.

We have enquired with many users accross different areas who have confirmed that no such problem is occuring to them. However we still want to get to the bottom of it.

Is it happening when trying to access any particular links or accross the site? If we could get specifics that would be a great help.

It happens on any of the forums (this one, baseball, college football and soon, the NFL and matchup pages) I frequent. So I don't think it's isolated. Yes, I use IE but  you should be able fix it (I cannot fathom it to be impossible). But, then again,  I'm still waiting for my QUOTE button to be restored. Changing browsers is the easy way out for a Covers fix. I would NEVER switch to Google because of the logging of info on everything you do.
