#1 Posted: 2/27/2012 6:43:13 PM Much like tennis and golf have their "majors". Certainly couldnt do any harm and would generate interest from casual fans during the long season.
Im thinking
Daytona 500 Bristol(night) Chicago Talladega(second race

Evening Tree, I went from hardcore to casual fan during JJ's amazing five year run and I'm not alone there. Was thinking the actual designation of "major" may increase interest among the sunday channel surfers. Unbelievable that I left the brickyard out nice call |

These are your 4. Daytona and the Brickyard are certainly the biggest. Darlington actually sounds like the driver's favorite though.
Daytona 500 Brickyard 400 Southern 500 Coke 600

Just substitute Chicago with Indy and those are my 4 favorite races of the year.

#9 Posted: 2/27/2012 8:04:31 PM The three locks are
Daytona Brickyard Bristol
many contenders for the fourth: chicago, pocono, texas darlington, vegas, watkins glen(big problem is only 5-6 have legit chance)
a interesting twist is homestead-determine champion and throw in a major |
