Please explain how Boise gave up in the 2H? UNR has had this game circled for a whole year. Nevada simply outplayed Boise in the 2H...except for 9 seconds. I feel terrible for Brotzman as an individual. His miss obviously made me money but beyond the missed kick in regulation, Nevada wanted this game more. Plain and simple. Sorry if your BSU bet lost but Boise did not have the resolve to overcome adversity. Even with the regulation miss, BSU had their opportunity in OT to score 6 and failed. Even with the FG, Nevada would have gone in and scored in my opinion. Nevada played conservative in OT. BSU could not stop Nevada's rushing attack even when they knew what was coming. Sorry, but I did not see BSU quit...if that was their mentality, why throw deep at the end of the game? Just kneel and go to OT. Your opinion is severely flawed.

justice23 i agree with the fact that nevada outplayed them in the 2nd half but i stongly believe that boise state defese thought this game was in the bag and and gave up as well as the offensive co ordinator ... and i did not have money on this game, just a believer that boise desreved a shot at a bcs game

Alright, fair enough.  For full disclosure, I am a huge Nevada supporter, as a fan and with my money.  I am extremely thrilled for Kaepernick and Taua as they won me numerous wagers but for this team to get just an ounce of recognition is enough for me.  Ault is a great coach, has an extremely high retention graduation rate and his players enjoy playing for him.  Couple all the build up for this game together with senior night, this was the perfect storm for UNR to win tonight.  This will only validate tOSU president's (a complete moron) statements but Mackey Stadium is a tough place to play and BSU is still a Top 5 team from my perspective. Either way, tough mental loss for Boise...but this type of drama is why we all enjoy watching sports.
