I really want to start doing this chase series system you are doing.
Can you you explain how it works and how I can start following it?
Thanks Guys,

#635 Posted: 5/15/2012 1:43:18 PM Nice job with the updated sheet McShady! That should really help the newbies. The only thing I might add is to put the link to your spreadsheet out at least once a day. In your betting example I noticed you put betting 167 to win 200 in game 2 after losing 100 on game 1 (instead of betting 200 to win plus money). That does lower the risk in games 2 and 3 by betting that way if every game is a dog. I always thought you and Semper bet to win the dog money if available on every game. Is this simply a matter of personal choice, size of bankroll, etc?

#636 Posted: 5/15/2012 2:01:46 PM Thx. It's a rough draft til Semper gets to look it over. I posted the $ that way for 2 reasons. First so they can see the advantage to playing plus $. And second it's the most conservative approach. I don't need to show anyone how more $ equals more reward.
You should never blindly tail anyone, but if you do...play conservative. |

#640 Posted: 5/15/2012 2:47:31 PM If Team X wins G1, Series is done with profit. If X loses G1, a bet is placed on Team X in G2 (DOG +120...$167 to win $200) If X wins G2, overall profit is 140. Isnt our porfit 100? We lost 100 in 1st game and won 200 in 2nd. Am I missing something?
Also thank you for the breakdown but i think one thing which is missing is how this system is profitable? My assumption is you are saying you will win roughly 19 of 20 chases? Therefore profiting 19units - ~7units for a net gain of 12units?

#641 Posted: 5/15/2012 2:50:17 PM mcshady, not sure if i'm calculating it wrong but if you bet $167 for game 2 to hit $200, the profit would be $100, not $140, correct?
$200 (win from game 2) - $100 (loss from game 1) = $100

#644 Posted: 5/15/2012 3:29:24 PM Sorry to be off-topic, but isn't it a little fishy that the Dodgers are only -109 vs Arizona with the Dodgers 16-3 at home? Could the dog bark tonite?

What is the Dodgers ON Base % w/o Kemp? I would need +125 or better to go against them here. The public ate the value out of it |
