#2 Posted: 5/31/2012 4:56:50 AM Personally I think Brown deserves it however since Quick is a goalie and putting up sweet numbers it would be hard to deny him the award... but the defense is playing very well in front of him and has saved some goals with timely blocks... Either way is just fine with me.
Let's Go Kings...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

#3 Posted: 6/1/2012 12:47:20 AM I got a bunch on Quick, and put a little on Kopitar today at +500. With him getting the OT game in game 1, if he turns around and gets another big goal or 2, he may become the favorite, especially if it is a short series.

Brodeur???? What. As a sympathy vote. He has been solid but nothing more and has actually given up some bad goals. I think Kovi or Parise...maybe Zajac if NJD come back but Quick or Dustin B if the Crowns prevail.

In fact...I have watched almost all the Devils game and have been supporting them quite a bit. But...I have not seen a game where Marty stole it. To win a Conn Smythe you better dominate...like Parise and Zajac have done with their forecheck or Kovi has with his scoring in OT or on special teams. Stopping Kopitar on an OT breakaway is the stuff Conn Smythe winners are made of. Their pressure led forecheck is why they are still playing...not Martin Brodeur IMHO.
