I agree with the comments about Carle but the biggest liability you have on the blue line is Lilja.

He was -2 in game 3 and is either on the ice or in the box it seems when Jersey scores.

Also the percentage of opponents scoring chances and SOG seems to go way up when he is on the ice.

He sucks.

Yes but they are missing two defensmen so they don't have much choice but to play him.

Me too. I would love to see him in there but I guess they don't want to rush him. I know they are high on him. He's tough as nails too and they could use some more of that as well.

Go figure eh? As the season began to wind down, the Flyers in addition to Carle (puke), Timonen, Coburn and supposedly Meszaros as four vets on defense, added Grossman and Kubina to give the team six veteran defensemen heading to the postseason. Of the six, they only have basically two and a half of that number (Carle = puke). Furthermore we get these pathetic reporters posting their so-called news-worthy articles indicating Meszaros has been skating prior to the end of the series against the Pens for crying out loud and that he's way ahead of schedule. Well if that was the case, then where in darn is he? Half the time one can't put faith in these fictional articles or the moronic people who write the stories.

carle was just a product of pronger

flyers prospect weakness is definitely top pairing dmen so they will have to fill that void perhaps through trade.
