Baylor is 1-3 when not covering a double digit spread and the highest number they had was 14 and now you give me 19.5.
And Billy says his boys are playing better and will finish this game tonight. They almost beat Texas and tonight they cover.

#3 Posted: 2/27/2012 11:24:45 AM I always shake my head when people try to draw any conclusions based on how a team plays a home game. This game is on the road. It's like trying to cap an Arkansas road game based off how they just played at home. Pointless and irrelevant. |

#5 Posted: 2/27/2012 11:36:57 AM its games like this that make me wonder because it seems like the spread is to high right? but most times you see something like this and jump on the team getting the points which is what they want from you and what happens the big spread gets covered. i wont touch this game because its senior night and they might just build a big enough lead and cruise to the finish line but then again baylor can keep the foot down and cover this also... |

#6 Posted: 2/27/2012 11:38:36 AM Baylor is great at home and Texas Tech is 1-15 in the league with horrific road results. Spread is where it should be. |

And in what way is Texas similar to Baylor?

#8 Posted: 2/27/2012 11:48:48 AM take baylor first half i think they blow they doors off them early.... and put it on cruise control in the second half and possibly let up a backdoor cover but then again it is senior night so they could be looking to put an behind whooping on them

#9 Posted: 2/27/2012 12:56:20 PM I know this BU team like the back of my hand and cannot figure this one out.
I first saw the line and wanted to jump all over Tech, but PJ3 is starting to play better and getting back into his roll, add to it that Quincy Acy has started playing like the team leader and it's senior night.
I'm laying off this one because I could see a game like the OSU game where we beat them by 45. If I were forced to bet, I'd either take Tech 2nd half or Baylor first half. |

#11 Posted: 2/27/2012 1:48:00 PM I'm on it. Was hoping it would open at the full 20 but 19.5 is just as good at this point. Let's go!

#14 Posted: 2/27/2012 4:45:12 PM With big spreads like this I like cutting the game in half and say is Baylor 10 points better than T.Tech. each half while playing at home.
I think so. so 10 plus 10 equals 20 and you got your cover. |

#15 Posted: 2/27/2012 11:41:42 PM But Texas Tech beat Texas in Lubbock! In all seriousness, if anyone capped this road game based off Tech's lone win of the Big 12 season (at home), they need their head examined. When capping a road game, completely throw out any home games played by that team, they mean less than nothing. |

#17 Posted: 2/28/2012 12:18:39 AM Meant pushed to OT, didnt win. Point was someone used that game as logic as to why Tech would cover tonight. Sheer nonsense. |
