#28 Posted: 3/9/2012 5:46:00 PM I'm intrigued by Miami. Might be better to tease. These teams always play so freaking close. here are the wins/losses since 2005:
1 pt win 16 pt win 6 pt OT win 3 pt loss 19 pt loss 8 pt loss (OT) 7 pt loss 3 pt OT loss 6 pt win 13 pt loss 6 pt loss 1 pt loss 2 pt loss 6 pt loss 5 pt loss 16 pt win
12 of their last 16 games have been decided by 7 or less points (or gone to OT). and 2 of those others were wins. |

#29 Posted: 3/9/2012 5:47:42 PM oh...and more importantly, I think that Miami is just a great matchup. FSU struggles to score, and that's what Miami does best. It's just hard to get consistency out of the 'Canes. |

if you're considering betting on Xavier, consider that article. they didn't miss a beat.
unrelated to that, adding this:

#31 Posted: 3/9/2012 6:07:26 PM i also hate myself for rushing into UNLV; usually better at $ management than that. I might buy off and hope for a middle by getting the Lobos. Might as well wait for the Duke game though.
Ton of good points in this article:

I like it a lot. Duke will win, assuming no miracle for Tech. I'd actually lean on Cincy for the side with the way they're playing, but it's impossible for me to believe Cuse doesn't pull out after a 30-1 season and that one loss coming without Melo. I think Minnesota actually matches up pretty well with Michigan, but Michigan has a slightly better advantage inside and they can shoot much better; also very well coached and ample time to prepare for this game. You probably won't find a hotter team in the Big 10 right now in Purdue, as they've won 6 of the last 8....they seem to be playing better after dismissing Barlow, kind of an "addition by subtraction" type thing...but Ohio State is too big and too good. That win @ MSU was enormous, and I still think they're great although they've dropped 3 of the last 7. The first time they met it was close, but that was cause Craft and Sullinger were in foul trouble and b/c Byrd had a career-high game & couldn't miss a shot. Just my thoughts, so who knows. Hopefully there's no upsets tonight Adding something similar myself:
