Ah... but it did. BetCris opened the Mets at -150 but when Pinnacle opened it was around the -135 range I believe.
Can definitely understand the fading of the Cubs... no doubt about it they are awful. But this is baseball, and it's extremely random. And it really takes a lot to warrant high road chalk. I keep pointing people to yesterday's Giants/A's line, where you had one of the best pitchers in baseball (Cain) against a rookie (Griffin)... and the road chalk was still only -120 at closing time.
Obviously the A's were fortunate to pull it out, but that game was a hard-fought, scrappy, close game... and when that happens you always, always want to be on the side with plus money.
