Pats have offered 2nd and 4th round picks to Bears for Rappin Forte

Connolly was resigned. Solder was drafted to replace Light. They'll be fine |

#12 Posted: 3/26/2012 5:30:31 PM Not at ALL like NE to take on a high buck player at a position like RB. But you have to admit, he would be scary on that offense and it would open up the passing game even more. I'd like to see it . And I wouldn't mind Forte moving to the AFC. |

#18 Posted: 3/29/2012 7:29:41 PM it didn't seem like a patriot move anyway. they would have more likely gone for a guy like mike wallace than forte, if they were gonna pay for a high for a free agent.
forte would have been a nice addition though! oh well. |

#20 Posted: 3/30/2012 6:00:06 PM They were 2nd in total yards and 3rd in scoring last year using a backfield trio. Green-Ellis anchored it nicely by playing in every game, had over 800 total yards, scored 11 times and never turned the ball over. Why wasn't he resigned?
You really think Forte would have made the Pats any more potent in that pass oriented offense last year? |

I think they think highly of Ridley and Vereen. Vereen has a garbage load of talent, but didn't see the field last year. |
