Its now been 1 week since the 2012 NBA Season has started and I have a system that I've been using that is hitting 58.9% (23-16) right now. I always tread carefully at the beginning because they are tricky, which is why I haven't made my picks public yet and I've been thinking about ways to improve my system.
I will start my public record with a fresh (0-0)
All plays with be for 1 unit and you will never see any triple units or play of the year type plays here.
I hope to smash the books a new one 
My first play is OKC -2 vs Chi

1-1 day, didn't expect the Trailblazers to play so bad at home but on to the next one
Wizards +3 vs Bucks
Houston +7 vs Grizzlies
Cavs +4.5 vs Suns
Jazz +5 vs Nuggets

Nothing like a 1-4 day to humble you. Vegas had very sharp lines last night, hoping to win some money back today

My system also like Portland +3 vs SA and Utah -8.5 vs PHX but I won't be playing those plays

This is unacceptable but on the bright side its still early in the season and all the losses are a factor when tweaking my system which hopefully will make my system stronger

Celtics lose by a hook which was a game I really could've used. These 4th quarters have been hurting me.. Lots of crazy backdoor covers.

Celtics lose by the hook for the 2nd day in a row. Of all the teams I've bet on they are the ones who have burned me the most so far this season. Vegas will eventually start adjusting their line so people can stop auto-fading them and thats something I'll have to consider when betting on them

My system has been fade material for the past week. Im not sure if I should just keep using it like it is and fade all my plays cuz the sample size is to small. It was working good the first week of the season but since its back to .500

Spurs -5.5 It says the line opened at 8 and with 88% of the public on the Spurs it dropped down to -5.5? This could be a trap game.

Yesterday was good in the NBA, could've had a sweep but the bulls had a epic collapse in the 4th. I've been going back and tracking totals and today I start a new system when it comes to totals
