#101 Posted: 1/16/2013 10:37:17 AM Too bad only 2 pages of previous posts are accessible. Thus, gonna keep this thread on the boards, as it's started with a quite legitimate inquiry. With a quarter year's past, we can eliminate many enthusiasts based on what we can know from oft too proud posts.
Three "hot hand" "best cappers" I'd not notice anyhow, as suffering from inconsistency, and so become obscured. Numbers don't lie.
Still, in recent days, steady-state, systematized members who "map out" superimposed data visualizations of note would boil down to TriniMike, and Lippsman. Both astute, making this here ol' Covers.com profitable in more ways than mere moolah amassing. |

#119 Posted: 1/30/2013 6:54:31 PM Looks for peeps who do not tout..... Big Giant Killer, Big East when he posts, Tree, Phantom Capper.... Lots of good guys on here.....
Most of all tho, best used to get a consensus and as a LITTLE information. blind tailing people you will never meet is always stupid.... Cap your own games!, only way to get any better also.....
That being said when I have leans, I look at what these guys say and unless its an overwhelming hunch, I scrap any bets that are opposite the "consensus"
Again if your here to look for a "1 winner" for sunday, good luck, lots of times these guys are wrong, just in the end they are right... Make sense??? |

Ditto this!...Si1ly and Orangeman44 always post good-value plays, when they post.

#125 Posted: 2/11/2013 7:32:40 PM My personal rules on sports gambling:
1. Money management. Bet less than 4% of your total current bankroll per bet. Be discipline. 2. Be a strategic gambler by picking your spots and wait for the right opportunity. Never be a compulsive gambler by betting because it's your favorite team or bet against a team because you hate them. 3. Stay emotionless all the time. Bet like a robot. There's no place for emotions in this profession. Be unbiased. 4. Do your research by watching game footage, trends and statistics should be used on division rivals only. 5. Never bet on heavily juiced/vig lines. Like a line at -1000 for example. 6. Never bet on heavily valued lines. Like a terrible team at 100 to 1 odds to win championship. 7. Parlays should be no longer than 2 teams, the bigger the parlay is, the bigger the House Edge. Research and Secure your first pick before moving on to your second pick. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89HtJmQgjww 8. Teasers should never pass through the zero. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RP3P9OJvukQ 9. Teams with home field/court advantage tend to win games. Sportsbooks know this and favorites the home team. "Whoever is first in the field and awaits the coming of the enemy, will be fresh for the fight; whoever is second in the field and has to hasten to battle will arrive exhausted." -Sun Tzu, the Art of War 10. Never bet on double digit road favorites. You will lose in the long run. 11. Never bet on preseason games on any sport. Predicting a 2nd string and 3rd string team is stupid because of the lack of game footage on mostly unknown players. 12. If you are extremely compulsive, arrogant, drunk and biased. The best advice is to "Don't Gamble". 13. Learn from your mistakes. Most gamblers don't learn from their mistakes. That's why I made these gambling rules. |
