#1 Posted: 11/26/2008 10:18:33 PM First off, no i dont think there is a chance on Earth that the Lions win this game outright, but i do think that they will make it competitive.
My reasons for these crazy thoughts are that this is the SUPERBOWL for the Lions....think about it, they are finally playing in front of a sellout crowd for the first time in four home games, on National TV. This team is going to go out and play harder than they have all year. They are going to be trying to show the nation that there is a reason to watch this god-awful team, and show that they deserve to stay on as a thanksgiving tradition
Let me know what ya'll think, but for me its LIONS +11.5

#6 Posted: 11/26/2008 11:09:38 PM If the Lions were in the Superbowl...they'd get smacked by 40. Seeing that this isn't exactly the Superbowl, they'll get smacked by only 20. |

#12 Posted: 11/26/2008 11:27:47 PM The points for taking the Lions are valid , but here's an even better thought :
In 7 of their 11 losses they were ahead and against GB, Carolina, TB they were ahead by double digits .
They have some fight in them , so we'll see on Turkey Day. |

#24 Posted: 11/27/2008 2:25:07 PM They shocked me with their abysmal defense. I knew their defense was bad, but today I got shocked that it was even worse than I thought it was.
