|Houston is a very overrated team headed into tonight's game....

No, South Florida has not put up anywhere close to decent offensive numbers this season. But their defense is a solid unit, 31 TFL and 9 sacks in the last three games. That defensive line will be key in pressuring a good Houston QB, O'Korn, but a Freshman nonetheless.
Houston is also without their leading rusher as USF gets their top runner back after missing two games.
Moreover, Houston's defense is not good. In last weeks game versus Rutgers, Houston entered as a 7 point underdog, and played every bit the dog. The Cougars were the benefactors of several Rutgers turnovers that were more the fault of the offense than a defense creating the turnovers.
Even though USF brings a tired defense (they were on the field for 41 minutes last week versus Louisville) and fourth string freshman quarterback to Houston, their defense and running game should be enough to keep it close.
With big games on the horizon for Houston, USF is hardly a game they will give 100%. South Florida has a lot to prove, and with a true freshman quarterback starting for the first time in school history, have nothing to lose.
