#26 Posted: 10/7/2012 11:26:18 AM It's +235 on bookmaker for the a's to win the series. Good bet, MrB?
Average price, but acceptable in this case. |

Oh, c'mon now. West coast teams play Sunday afternoon games in the Eastern time zone at 1 P.M. all season long. This time it's noon. Big deal. |

#32 Posted: 10/7/2012 3:43:52 PM Lucky win for the Tigers, but the series isn't over. It only feels like it is. We'll see if the paper Tigers can win just one game in Oakland. |

I'm gonna do what I said I was gonna do in post #16, which was...
and if the A's lose Game 2, I will fire on them in Game 3, and then roll that ticket onto Game 4, and then roll THAT ticket onto Game 5. |

#35 Posted: 10/7/2012 4:33:19 PM Paper Tigers? I think you meant Power Tigers. They look good on paper and also GRREATTT!!! on the field. They're not quitters. You probably had coco crisps for breakfast while I had Frosted Flakes today with Tony the Tiger

Of course Mr. Bator realizes how good Oakland is and how paper fake Detroit is.
They will NEVER beat Oakland at the Coliseum.
The A's WILL sweep. They've been through so much. The Tigers are walking into a buzzsaw and they don't even know it. |

#38 Posted: 10/9/2012 2:28:27 AM I'm sitting on the As -122 for game 3. Also got +585 for the series through a local for the max wager of a nickel. |

25-11 at home since the All-Star break, the A's deserve the love, so no, not worried. It's not like (massively square Covers poster name censored) or (massively square Covers poster name censored) is on Oakland, which would obviously cancel my play instantaneously if either of them were. |

#46 Posted: 10/10/2012 12:07:59 AM One down and two to go, and this Game 3, I felt, would be the tough one. I thought the Tigers best chance to win the series would be a quick knockout punch tonight before the A's could get any momentum going. Instead, the Tigers couldn't do nothin'. Now they're in trouble. The Tigers are suddenly feeling nervous, knowing that they just went from being firmly in control to being very much at risk of becoming one of those phony teams that wins the first two at home and then gets bounced anyway. And it's gonna happen, too. |

#49 Posted: 10/11/2012 1:25:32 AM Two down and one more to go, and if any team currently defines the term "reeling", it's the Paper Tigers. They gagged away Game 4, and with it, in all likelihood, the series. At this point the A's could pick a fan out of the stands to start Game 5 and it would probably work. How many bettors out there will now exercise horrible, horrible, horrible judgment by laying juice with Justintimetocomeupsmall Verlander? |

Not this guy. I will stand pat with my max bet on Oakland at +335 to win the series....
Actually, on second thought, I will be adding a max bet on Oakland +137 tomorrow....actually wait....I already did that too.
