seems like oddmakers are already expecting the public to bet on minny after douglas went down...and since minny is also capable of blowing out teams on their homecourt.
i thought minny would only give 4.5 or even 5.5
this line is like begging you to take indy.
1st game indy@home 66-64...minny wins... indy giving 4 in that game.
2nd game minny@home 86-79 minny also wins...minny giving 5.5 in that game.
Now minny giving this big?? hope even with this handicap they can cover..

ind will win game 2, but will get blown out in game 1... ind always gets blown out in game 1s... their strength is adjusting for the next game...good coach and great team but minn is just better and january is off,.,

minny should blow them up first game... also i notice that minny having trouble in blowing up teams that can play good defense and can shoot threes... just like what happened to seattle.. but i believe indy is a much better team but lacks inside presence in which seattle have in lauren jackson. minny also doesn't have inside presence so i expect this series to go further but if not.. if minny sweeps this series they should win in all close games haha..maybe they steal one in indy...

Have you seen Brunson play? She could make a man's pro team in most countries of the world, and be competitive. All the offensive rebounds Indiana collected against lazy connecticut players, will turn into loose ball fouls because Brunson will be there first. She is just as fast and bigger than anyone on connecticut, or Indiana.

Hope this game would be like the minny-seattle series where minny seems not capable of blowing them up.
Indiana i believe have the right pieces to dethrone them. They have the fire and determination to do their very best but minny just have these overall one step ahead talent to the point of they can win whenever or wherever they want.
One thing minny lacks is that drive or that something(maybe that challenge they were gearing to since they were the defending champion).
Minny can cover this spread anytime they want but as long as indy keeps playing hard night in and night out then maybe this spread is like a coin toss bet.
I like Indiana to win these finals and to be the champion not as a fan or on anything but I think they really deserve it. Not being biased on the road they took compared to minny where seattle and sparks is not really a contender but atlanta and connecticut have the ability win the championship.

Right now Larkins is their second best player, and it's not even close. Others are important with shotmaking, but without her rebounding they get blown out each and every time by this Minnesota team. She is THE piece that will win this series for the Fever - unless dealt with (rather brutally).
I hope to see her foul (and be fouled) a lot more the next three games.

tonight il have to go with ind and the points... Great call by the ind coach to sit out sutton-brown, their normal starter and play larkins... Zellous is the legit starter as well and 2nd in def behind catchings...

I hope Katie Douglas gets back to the starting line-up on Friday. +130 Minnesota will be the steal of the year.

How in the world this indy team can keep up their intensity with minny if their starters keeps playing 36 37 40 mins. playing 7 players only and on top of that these are women....
I wonder what if....its the other way around...if minny keeps an early lead and decided to take it seriously at the start...how will indiana respond to that?
Also, I'm curious on what will be the handicap in indy's homecourt. coz they've never been a home underdog..
I guess they still be the favorites...hoping the line would be around 3 or 4 so that the value would be better..

Dunn has noone to play. And the problem has just become that much worse after Pohlen got her ankle 'broken' by Moore's crossover.
And Indiana will probably score about 60 points in game 2 or 3, maybe in both. The reason they stay in games where they get outrebounded this badly (as they should, given they are smaller and less athletic) is their shooting.
Noone can keep up shooting like this playing 35+ minutes a game. Ask Larkins who made 1 of 6 shots - and she never shoots from outside 15 feet.

Even Indiana gets a big lead...You know that huge minnesota run will come..
Bad shooting and costly turnovers is the reason why minny always trails at the start. Seems like they always playing around then whenever they want to get serious....They came back big time...
As for indiana...they always played hard but if their shots were not falling then their hard can't compensate....

I just don't see what's wrong with how indy played last game. they played their ass off but when minny finally woke up. game over. not a chance for indy to come back.
